  • hi all a spend of £50 to add to the challenge oh has surprised me and suddenly realised there is a huge amount of food in freezers that we can actually eat lol I know this sounds daft but at least now I can nudge him in the right direction with the shopping bless him he s doing very well he hates shopping and has been forced to do it as I have been ordered to rest by doctor problem is he gets stuff he fancies at the time and then does not eat it we have £100 left for the month so he is well under budget this month with only 6 days left of the challenge so fingers crossed it will stay that way

  • I would like to declare £70 for April - an overspend of 10. See you in May challenge.
  • Is there an easy way to get to the May challenge from here, or do I go to homepage of forums. Thanks in advance.

BThank you joedenise and lynnejk (definitely no plug visible anywhere)[/B] for the tips; I hadn't seen your advice until now, but ended up doing a bit of everything. In the end I knocked the big bits off with a wooden rolling pin, placed bowls of hotwater inside and got my hairdryer out as was sick of looking at it :rotfl:.Its all done now until next time, anda bit better organised. I need to do a proper inventory, but I have a good mental idea of what is where.

scotsmumof3 thankfully I am feeling much better despite not having shifted the coughing and the nose blowing. Appreciate your wishes though. I am so glad I m not full-time, it's awful enough when you aren't working every day and you feel like p**, but to have to go in all week and feel like this doesn't bear thinking about.

Well back to business, my shop yesterday was £47.01 or thereabouts which leaves me a few pounds left of my budget; so not going to make it :(. I WILL replicate February's success, I WILL, I WILL :D. I am here until the 30th regardless.

Slightly off subject, does anybody have any good links to low carb menu plans. I will do a search also on here, but I know they aren't always reliable. I have Googled and searched Pinterest etc, but it's not really throwing up the right results.TIA.

Well I've spent everything now...not very good :/ My mistake was not keeping food money separately, will know better next month! I also spent ~£7 on going out as I get so bored at home...

I will use my tesco voucher of £3.50 to buy some veggies & fruits if needed until end of April...

I think if you look on the MD site and open your account you will find that they will send you an email for you to claim - think it's about middle of May !! HTH

We had omelettes for dinner - I had mine with a large salad and DH had chips.

Hope you all have a super Saturday
