Spends of £11.66 in Morries (mainly fruit) and 89p in Iceland (4pt milk). Need to go back and amend my signature as when I updated it I also added in the cost of a spend in B&M on teatowels which of course don't come from the Grocery budget.

Will do my final shop for April on Thursday. Should be well within budget again this month! All extra money goes to savings - some for Christmas and some for holidays!

No spends since the 24th and so far have had 19 NSD:)

Realised this morning that we have plenty of eggs that need using up and also some milk and cream that will need using before it goes off. So I made a bacon, onion and cheese quiche which we will have tomorrow and also did an egg custard without the pastry and will have that tonight with the last of the strawberries.
Off to do our weekly meal plan now and then make a shopping list.
Hope everyone is well and keeping those purses tightly closed. Just imagine how much money we would all have if we didn't have to buy food :rotfl:

Didnt get chance to post when I went shopping and only just now time to update. Went to Ald! last week, only spent £48 so much better than last few weeks. Also spent £16 in Sainsbobs at weekend on impromptu BBQ bits (which I forgot to add to my signature), apart from that other days NSD, so although I have 1 more weeks shop to do from April budget I think I will come in under budget. Its a busy time at work for me so am planning to be extra organised with meal planning etc to keep on track. DS finishes college soon so will not need packed lunches and will be cheaper when he eats at home. No real bargains to report this week.
    Thoughts to all. Mrs D.

A hefty (for me this month) single day spend in the shops of over £21 has hit my figures - even with a few stock use ups as well

    Now standing at

Budget to end of today as £228.57, with spends of £138.00
Split for this month now at 66% shop : 34% stock, and 64% : 36% for year to date

I'm popping up to the opticians tomorrow and tesco is right opposite so might pop in for some yogurts. I like the weight watchers ones and we don't go to tesco very often to get them! Slightly disappointed to have gone over this month but considering the kids were off for 2 weeks on their easter holidays and I have been feeding my poorly dog chicken and rice for nearly 3 weeks it not surprising! Infact I think if it weren't for the GC it would have been far far worse!
