I have bust the budget already but cupboard/freezer and fridge all stuffed so I will need to make everything last as long as possible to limit damage.
I too have bust the budget. I've gained a foreign student and I raelise I've been buying lots more things for him to try than I realise. I stupidly told him to help himself to the sweet/snack cupboard and hes been forgoing my cooked meals in favour of choc bars/coke/juice I think so I need to find a subtle way of changing this!
In fairness I was given over £50 towards food this month but I didnt take this off as I really want to track exactly how much I spend!
Oh well, always next month0 -
Have done first full shop for April and have spent £35.89 after vouchers taken off of which nearly £10 was for alcohol so not too bad. Don't think I'll need anything else this week so hopefully a few NSDs coming up.

Nsd for groceries today. I went out for the day with my two, meeting up with a friend, her three children and her mum. I ended up buying ice creams for us all. Seven ice creams, guess how much? £15.20!!! Glad that's not going onto my gc! To be fair though, they often buy me a cuppa when we meet, so it's only fair.
Still holding onto my GC money, especially as I've just discovered a leak in my bathroom. A little leak, but it's obviously been there for ages, as under the Lino was wet and growing stuff! Euw!
Had the sweet and sour for dinner that we were supposed to have yest. Roughly on track with the meal plan, so all's good on that front.
