    Additions to spreadsheet for today

Breakfast : microwave porridge from long-term stock

Evening meal : two chicken burgers from long-term stock (plus burger rolls and lettuce already accounted for). also had some garlic mayo from long-term stock, but need to find the replacement cost before I can add to spreadsheet (keep forgetting to note price when I'm in a local store that stocks it!)

Flying with the NSDs! I think its because its half term, and I don't wanna take the kids to the shops, so I haven't been, lol. Will need bread, milk ect so will be spending today. Might take £20 and stick to it.

£3 in poundworld yesterday on some instant porridge pots for wonder bairn. I'll use these when we go away next weekend and the first bank holiday in May (so much easier, cleaner and cheaper than trying to get a hotel breakfast in to her! specially as the hotel in May charges over £6 per head for breakfast - London!) also will make for easy brekkies when my parents have her/she doesn't take a fancy to cereal

off at lunch to buy bread, cheese and milk and possibly some fresh salad

I'm not doing too great this month...DD1 is here for 2 weeks and she always increases my budget somehow.

And I ordered from Approved Food at the start of the month, not so smart :o

Just been to my local Aldi and thought I was seeing things when I saw whole legs of lamb at £1 a kilo. I asked the staff if it was a typo but no the offer was legit apparently too much stock. I got 4 the average cost was £2.32 each. Best bargain in ages!
