    Thursday updates to spreadsheet show

Budget to end of day : £73.47
Additions against budget : 2 packs of soup mix, 4 sausages, pasta sauce, carton of long-life soya cream, individual sachet of hot chocolate mix (all from long-term stock)
Spends to end of day : £35.50

I've also added some extra info to my spreadsheets to show split of spends between shops and stock as a percentage
    January : shops 52%, stock 48%
February : shops 54%, stock 46% (giving year to date of 53% and 47% respectively)
March : shops 79%, stock 21% (giving year to date of 64% and 36% respectively)
April so far : shops 67%, stock 33% (still giving year to date of 64% and 36% respectively)

I'd like to get the figures back up to end of Feb level, but can see it taking a bit of a slog to get there - especially as I'm off out to hit the shops again tomorow (a few items we use on a fairly regular basis that are on offers in stores and I can currently get cash-back on, as well as essential milk).

Had to pick up a few bits in Mr A yesterday. Total of £16.05 spent, more than I'd planned but I'm still on track for the month. Cupboards now full and I'm looking forward to our first muscle foods order arriving today. I'm hoping to be able to keep spending down next week, had originally planned lots of dog walks with the kids. Unfortunately both my girls have gone into season so they can't go out for a couple of weeks :( might have to get the kids Marie kon doing their rooms :p

  • So far we've spent £79 of the £350 so we have £280 left. I spent a litle extra on decorations for Mr Astoryandasong's cake.

I did however score some lovely pork ribs for £2 which will be slow cooked.:j
  • I have had a few minor spends, and have updated my sig. I didn't keep an exact a/c but it was no more than £10, but I updated it £8, round it to £30 spent April, as I bought some y/s for a homeless guy, which im not going to include, as it would deter me buying stuff.

  • Amazingly never made it to shops yesterday!

Went today, tried to stick to under £20. Spent £13.07p, then a further £3.95 at a shop next to work. Happy with that!

Did second food shop of the month yesterday evening. It was a big shop as had vouchers to use by tomorrow. Spent £73.29 but have enough food for two weeks of meal plans and some extra to plan in for the last week of the month. Have £82.59 remaining in the food budget for the month so on track currently to come in under budget!

My main problem is getting my boyfriend on side! He never wants to help me meal plan/shop but then complains about some of the food I buy! Annoying!

    Have a great day everyone!
