A nsd here well I did buy my muscle food shop for april but its not coming till half way through april and is for aprils budget but the groupon was to good to pass up. Does anyone know when the Sun has the aldi coupon in? I am thinking this month of doing a big shop at the begining of the month and only topping up with milk fruit ect to make the most of the coupon. I will need to meal plan for a month and be mega organised though. Does any1 else shop like this and does it work for you?February GC £261.97/24 NSDS 10/12

I do a big shop at the beginning of the month and anothe St the end, so I can use 2 of the aldi vouchers. The other two weeks I do essentials only- bread, milk, fruit and veg etc. it works brilliantly for me!Grocery challenge-

Only 2 days to go and I'm under budget....just :j
Really pleased as this month with my budget I have:
1. Bought all nieces/nephews easter eggs
2. Reduced budget to make up for slight overspend last month
3. Had a foreign student join the household a week ago
4. Treated mums to lovely roast in pub and got flowers
5. Have enough toilet roll and washing powder for the year!
So whoop whoop to me
Really pleased. Doing this along with YNAB and Kon Marie has really helped curb my spending in all areas of my life. For once I feel back in control again.
And a big thanks to all the support on the boards here :T0 -
£48.79 spent this week. I stocked up a bit on cat food as it always gets used and I also went to Asda where there was plenty of the cat litter required so no idea why it's not available online all of a sudden, sigh. Signature updated.0

Didn't manage to get on yesterday but have updated signature with yesterday's spend of £13.13 bringing my total so far this month to just over £150 so just under £100 left for the rest of the month, so looking OK.
Now up to 12 NSDs this month (including today)

I'm quite exicited that I might actually make it through on budget on my grocery challenge, think that's mainly because I've given up alcohol for lent and also doing a Fiscal Fast (no spending at all) for the week (on last day), really helped, though I am a person who does have their finger very near the self destruct button...... so we shall see. Today hopefully will be a nsd. Good luck everyone.0

Afternoon Everyone.
Did my last bits and pieces this morning to make a weekly spend of £81.88 (Mr S, Wilkos and Savers). This is a little expensive but did include things I wouldn't normally put in this budget, but had enough left to cover without dipping into the allocated savings (paint testers, etc).
I am declaring this month DONE and under budget at a total of £250.81/£350. I think next month, I'm reducing this down as I've done well these past 3 months. I've moved £99.19 to the savings. :j
Thank you to whoever mentioned bean burger above...put me in the mood to make some, so that will be a meal or two sortedHow long til pay day?
