    Hi all

Made it back from Malta, great place but lots of building going on at the moment. Will be interesting to see how it changes it. To the person that was going soon, all the local restaurants that we went to were pretty good, but eating in Valletta adds about an extra 5 euros onto a main so maybe venture out if you can. If you want local then go for the fish, pork or rabbit, all very good.

On the grocery front spent £23.54 today mainly on fresh things, fruit, veg, bread, milk etc. Will hopefully remember to make some bread tomorrow and maybe some cakes if I go back out and actually get eggs.
  • I have been planning a monthly shop not got very far at the moment kids keep playing up. But I will say it makes it eaiser to see where my money is going. We have a thing now on a Wednesday the children have a cream egg seems nothing when you buy on a weekly basis but over a month its costing me £20. £20 of my gc on cream eggs! So I am going to buy chocolate egg molmolds and make my own. Very eye opening.

Can't sleep, so quick update. Im over and hoping for an Aldi shop next week so definitely won't be within budget or even close. Will rejoin again for April, with a bit more determination hopefully.

I've probably done my last grocery shop for the month, as I'm off to my parents for a week next Sunday, so although I've only meal planned until next Friday, I'm sure I can stretch out a Saturday night meal from the store cupboard before heading off.
Going to come in well under budget, but won't declare until nearer the end of the month, just to be sure.
Because it's fun to have money!

Have added a whopping £42 to my total. GRR this takes us over but only by a couple of £ss so not too bad for my first bash.

I have a house full of sick kids at the moment so a quiet weekend for us I think. Hope everyone has a lovely weekend.
