Whoever posted that picture of Lemon Meringue Pie (Billie Jo?) has a LOT to answer forI am pregnant and now all I want to eat is lemon meringue. Although, even if I wasn't pregnant all I'd want to eat would be lemon meringue after seeing that picture.
Oops sorry. I could say it was awful but then I would be lying. :rotfl:
moneyonmymindsam - Yes YS are yellow stickered/reduced items.
No spends to report but will be going tomorrow so will see how much then. Using things up out of the freezers still - today some sliced beef that was frozen in gravy which we will have with veg, yesterday we had hm chicken pasties that had been in a while.

Hi all, just wanted to drop in to say that I am working hard this month & so far all set to come in on target for the end of the month :j
Long way to go but have done my first ever meal plans over the last couple of weeks & think they are really helping. We are having more varied meals too as you can see when you last had something so can work out when to have what & which evenings need to be quicker meals when I have work etc. Need to sit at some point over the next couple of days & work out the next couple of weeks & see how we get on.
Keep up the good work everyone :T0 -
OH just fessed up to a £14.44 spend. Added!Keep reading books!

WOW ! Well done on the fishing DH  Must admit to being a bit envious as I love fish and fresh fish is so expensive here in Scotland  we have to have it as a treat. One of the reasons we are going to eventually live in Spain.

Hi Lynnejk
Fish is very expensive here, to the extent that cheaper fish is imported from Vietnam, and marketed in the supermarkets under various names. Snapper (probably the most popular fish here usually costs between $30 and $40 dollars a kilo.) For an island nation, it is a disgrace.
Nsd for me yesterday. One of Dhs friends has just been in a fishing competition and caught a marlin, will be getting some marlin steaks and smoked marlin today, so the fishy theme continues today in our menu plans.
cheers
