Hello people.
Whoever posted that picture of Lemon Meringue Pie (Billie Jo?) has a LOT to answer forI am pregnant and now all I want to eat is lemon meringue. Although, even if I wasn't pregnant all I'd want to eat would be lemon meringue after seeing that picture.
Had a spend of £63.85 in Mr S last night - about £19 of that was on some baby gros/vest things that people had recommended. Will leave it in the budget for now but I do technically have a separate baby budget.
Meal plan all done for the week, save for Sunday as I'm not 100% sure which meat to get out the freezer yet.
Had to buy lunch yesterday at work - whopping £4.36 for a small salad and packet of popcorn and fruit. Rip off. Won't be doing that again in a hurry! That comes out of my own money though. How long til pay day?
March Grocery Challenge - £69.54 / £3000 -
This weeks shopping trip is over and done. £46.70 and my signature has been updated. I'm now thinking of doing next weeks shopping on Friday except for milk and bread rather than having to drag a reluctant 10 year old round the supermarket with me.0

today was a NSD and all food has been from what is in the house so 6 meals and snacks for DH this challenge is fantastic it makes me very aware I would have given left over Sunday roast to dogs and bought something for tonight - instead cold meat and mash with peas tonightEmergency fund £10,000

Done rather well this month first grocery spend today, £12.76, a tiny bit of extra discount as Mr T gave me a massive £0.03 off voucher last time I was in there but as they say every little helps. Some crisps and other lunch box bits, potatoes, fixings for lasagne for tonight plus store cupboard (excluding tinned tomatoes as I have 7 tins left still). Also some cheeky profiteroles as they sent me a voucher.
This month has turned into an impromptu clear out/rationalise the freezer and store cupboards month as the freezer was filling up again and got a few random tins in the cupboard. So any suggestions for two tins of mixed beans will be gratefully received.0 -
