  • Another nsd for me :) feeling very proud as that's 4 in a row will need to spend tomo though. I am hoping to place my first ever muscle food order tomo as the freezer is looking a little empty or should I say I am getting through the mountain of food in there and panicking in case I end up with nothing in it.

Tomorrow I need bread so it will be a spend day, too.

Almost had to do a grocery spend today as OH told me he'd eaten a lot of bread and only had a nubbin and a bagel left in the bread bin.

Aha - cous-cous in the cupboard!

So I am having some veggie cous-cous for lunch instead of sarnies.

    I win.:j

(Having a Wetherspoons tonight for us tea, as we off to a show in town - but that's a different budget) :)
    Keep reading books!
August grocery challenge budget £150, £90.14 spent in total - £59.86 remaining.

    Morning All :)

I am off to Aldi today for the weekly shop. I am so amazed that i only spent £12 last week! I dont think that i have ever done that before!

Definitely need to spend more than that this week though. Need washing powder, washing up liquid and a whole host of other stuff. Think I'll spend close to my max of £50 this week.

Big Shop but hopefully it should get me a long way into this month. from now on I will only buy what I desperately need. £74.32 spent, total so far for the month 98.23/168
  • Good Morning!

Shopped yesterday, but it cost next to nothing. Thanks to Mr T's recent voucher post out :) I used half of my vouchers to start my second purse (as I had to spend that money on my new TV aerial :() So, while I currently have nothing in my second purse, I have actually got stock I can use to start paying in :)

Other shopping, mostly YS stuff, which I put an odd £2.50 voucher towards, came to £5.29. So that's another £2.79 of my budget spent.

Today is, hopefully, an NSD. Have to get something nice for my long suffering OH for next weekend, but that's a different budget.

Hope you all have good days!
