NSD Sunday and Monday! Happy with that.
First spend of the month today, quick snowy walk to shops, bought 2 packs of blueberries, some chocolate and a pack of doughnuts for the kids (celebration of youngest DD getting an A in her mock Maths A level) some watercress, spinach and mushrooms, plus DH needed some things to take to work tonight for a meal, spend £25 so far this week.
Planning a T*sco shop for tomorrow to deliver any bits and pieces that we can't get elsewhere, setting an upper limit of £40 to keep us on track for the week's budget, but will add to my signature tomorrow once I have done it.
All going well for my first month of actually being accountable for how much I spend on food!Making time for me now. Out with old habits and ideas, and open to change......:j0 -
Spend of £20.21 for me today in Tesc*
This includes loo roll which DH noticed was on special:)
Hope everyone is wellDebt free as of 29.10.2020 🎉😁

Well this should be interesting, 1 week into the challenge and over 60% the way through my budget!! That's what happens when you don't log your receipts until days later......
However, I shall give it a good go! Plenty of tinned things in the cupboard that I could make an interesting meal or 2 with!
Just read today that thieves have stolen over £5K from a local foodbank, including cash, vouchers, clothes & goods. What is the world coming to? Thankfully the local government & (I use the term loosely) "Comedian" Frankie Boyle, have stumped up more than double the amount that was taken. The cash collected was for a holiday for an 11 year old girl who was involved in a hit & run accident last year, which also killed her best friend. Hope the Police find those responsible first! **Sorry for the rant, really boils my blood**
However, I shall ensure I buy a few extra bits & bobs for the foodbank when I go shopping this week.My name is CherryPie and I'm addicted to grocery shopping!!

Hope its not too late for me to join this month (I know it won't be, lol)!
Been unwell and in hospital. Finally updated Jan's total and ready to start this month!
Big spends so far, mainly due to DH's shopping while I'm unwell but also a couple of bulk buys. Total is around £110 which is made up of a box of Daz (110 washes), 48 toilet rolls, a big Iceland shop and some meat shopping. Reason for the Iceland shop, DH was given a Love2Shop gift card from work. We are using it for food shopping. Went and spent £75 there but lots of simple meals in there that DH and the kids can make till I get myself back on my feet.
Need to do an online Mr T's shop today. Hoping to keep it under £50. This will mainly be made up of fruit, veg, fresh stuff, some toiletries and packed lunch stuff.
Hope everyone is ok. Sorry I haven't been around! Getting back to normal now so I'll be back to annoying you all with a little post in no time!
CP xx

Grocery spend £7 today, covers cheese (large piece 800g extra mature Welsh Cheddar in Marks for £5, it is a fantastic cheese, highly recommended. 50% off at the moment, hence its cost of £5, great value). Plus small pot of yogurt for starter refresh. Bread at coop, large sliced and 2 packs YS rolls.
Updating sig now.
Tomorrow, no reason to spend so it might be a NSD, watch this space! Finally I'm an OAP and can travel free (in London at least!).0 -
£49.92 spent today at Tesco.online. Alot of that was fruit juice and flavoured water, then bits and bobs.
Need Nu--me cheese, bread and avacados from M*rrisons possibly tomorrow; and a small shop at Asda online .
