I've lost my way with OS when I became more financially secure, but I need a new car so need to start saving again so I don't have to dip into my house fund!
I'm going to budget weekly as I take groceries out of my tax credits (which will be going down in a couple of months😱!)
Can you put me down for £100 a week please for me,dh,dd,ds. I pay for the dog's food out of the monthly money though, so won't include that at the minute!

Hello, I haven't had time to keep up with the thread but will catch up later! I'm feeling pretty pleased with the budget so far. It looks terrible at 40% of the budget spent so far, but I've just had a delivery and I have enough food in for at least two weeks so that will see me well into the month! Yay! There'll be some bread, milk and some bits of fresh to buy but it's mostly there.0

Hi All
So Im starting off the Feb challenge. Woo hoo! As I did so well over a 36 day month Im going to slash myself down to £180 for short little Feb
I just went to Lidl to do the first shop of the month. I cant believe how much cheaper it works out than Sains, & dont really know why I dont make myself go all the time, apart from its quite a bit further so not always conveinient. Its insane they can offer 500g of beef mince for £1.75 & 1600g of chicken for £2.85
Shopping like this is probably going to help me hit the £180 so here goes!

Friday is payday for four weeks so I've decided to join in this challenge
Never done it before, but I'm prone to buying meal deals instead of making lunches so I'm hoping that seeing how much I spend will motivate me to cut down on those
I'll see how I manage on £100 a month for one adult and three catsMy month will be 30th Jan to 26th Feb.

Hello everyone,
I have enjoyed joining in the G/C as it helps me to focus, and I am hoping to be able to start saving soon.
I should like to join again for February, and would like to be put down for £60 a week, so £240 for the month, to include all food, cleaning supplies, and general toiletries.
I got paid today, so my challenge starts this week.
Thank you.SPC 11 #4450 -
