Hi - thanks for the thread.

Please put me down for £160 for food only for two adults. I am seeing if we can manage easily on this - as every month I seem to have a carry forward of costs for either wine or store cupboards stuff bought on credit card!

I will also have up to £40 for cleaning stuff but only buy if on offer and needed. Have a good stock so perhaps will be OK this month.

As it is a short month we should be OK and have tweaked our meal plans now I have taught myself to make a lovely omelette! No idea why I couldn't before - mental block?! LOL!

I have started checking out each supermarket's offers monthly so I know what I use is cheapest where. Sometimes my s***mkt is incorrect so be careful - or perhaps smaller stores don't always stock the full range of pack sizes.

Have been really pleased with some Mr T bargains which I am having delivered for £1 on Thursday

    Have a good month everyone.

  • Evening peeps :D

Weekly shop at Mr S complete (was going to be Ald! but last minute change of plan). Spent £53.43...including some treat bits (I'm pregnant and really NEEDED popcorn :p ).

Meal plan all sorted, meat that I bought at the butchers last week all portioned up and ready to go and on track so far.
How long til pay day?

Put me down for £80.00 for February I still have loads in the freezer and the store cupboard I want to use.
The other half is taking me away for my birthday for two weeks, so i think this is more than enough.
