Hi df0d, we still have cc on 0% and I really struggle splitting our wages between mortgage/cards/savings. Currently everything goes off cc apart from an OP of around £100. It's hard striking a balance isn't it.

Our eldest is just shattered with all the parties and nativities. Yesterday he had a party at school in the afternoon, then a party at Beavers from 4.40-5.45, then it was off to his nanny's to charge round with his cousins waiting for the local Rotary club to bring a 'special guest'. It was lovely but being 60 mins late was just too much for him, so standing out in the rain waiting for his turn at 7.45 was tough. He was fighting the tears at one point, trying to to rub his eyes but not realising he had his glasses on it was all too much. Thankfully thats the last now so he can have a quiet couple of evenings till the big school finish.

I AM DONE!!! Yey no more work till January!

Last day for the littlies tomorrow.. I'm so ready to just chill a little.

Bit down about money at the moment, the blinking car bill in the summer has really messed up progress. and with Christmas a few things have slipped on the CC. They are evil and I just want rid of them.. It's the same old trying to split the money too many ways.

Anyhoo, I will plod on and hope that one day I will indeed be debt free. DH payday tomorrow, early for Christmas so be interesting to see what the back pay and pay rise is for him!

I'm ready for lots of days or PJ's and washing trashy TV!

Well a day off with no work to do really.. so I am just vegging out.. Have a headache which isn't great.

Have to confess to nipping on B n Q site and ordering a massively reduced tree for next year, our current one was pretty shabby this year when we put it up.

Also bought some vests for the littlies and a rubber bath mat as ours ripped last week..

    Such exciting shopping.

50p on Youg0v, 30p on 1poll and 30 points on Ips0s last night, but also completing a week long survey that will net me 700 points. Up to £9.30 on p-base, so one more survey should see me hit payout there as well.

DH's pay in a it was a bit more than expected, so will clear his CC with that which had the washing machine on..

Busy weekend of birthday parties and a visit to the man in red.. signed back up for Mr T delivery pass for a year, £60, though did get £5,05 cashback on it.. nabbed the only delivery slot between now and Christmas which is 10-11pm tonight, will have to con DH to stay up for it.

Feeling your CC frustrations. I'm planning on ditching ours altogether in January (after the cashback from christmas). The cashback is that minimal on a normal month for us that's it not really worth having.

the only thing that keeps me using our everyday one SJ is the Mr T points all adding up over the year so i can use them at boost time. I'm just amazed and disappointed in myself how quickly we are back up to three balances when we worked so hard to clear it.

One will be gone this month and closed. I still have CC1 which I've plodding away at reducing.. and then the everyday one which I'll need to overpay for a few months to get that back to zero.. so it will be sorted in a few months and I'll just have CC1, but I think that 0% ends April, so will have to do something then.

I feel your pain with cc. I often think of how much extra we could OP if we didn't have the cards. However, we spent the money on improving the house which stopped us moving.

Thanks for the reminder, just booked a delivery slot for Christmas Eve Eve!!!

Had a lovely weekend, birthday parties and a Father Christmas visit. the kids are a little rascally. can' only assume it's tiredness and excitement in equal measures.

Quieter day at home today whilst DH does his last few days at work.. might go to the library and get some reading books for them, keen to keep up with regular reading over Christmas. or we might have a PJ / crafting day..

    25p on y0ug0v this morning!

    Have a good day all.
