Re your decision to buy an air source heat pump, I asked the only person I know with one and she was rather critical - it is noisy, and despite assurances it could be located away from the house wall, the installers cautioned against it (burying stuff, then having to dig it up for maintenance seemed to be their reasoning). She says her house is really cold in winter, about 16c.
They have had it for about 8 years so do check with the newer onesSave £12k in 2025 #2 I am at £9586.01 out of £6000 after August (158.45%)

Feel like I haven’t been on here much at all. Life been busy.So where am I?Air source heat pump installed and solar panels also going in. Bit of a backstory as to why we are doing this which I’m not going to go into but they will be better than our previous heaters and we have log burner back up and will install a second burner if we need to.Money wise we have had a result of the PPI tax rebates so should have about £250 coming our way this week. Another one has been refunded via DHs tax code so it’ll be interesting to see his payslip this month. A further one has also been refunded via a cheque which I need to chase with the tax office as it hasn’t arrived yet.Ticking on with surveys and doing well on free money this month. Cant believe July has nearly gone either!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Good news about the PPI and tax refunds. DH was on emergency tax for about 6 weeks when changing jobs last year and I'm baffled that he's not due a refund but we've checked the gateway and still no luck.
What do you have planned over the Summer? Time is going so quickly Isn't it.
June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!2
