Sounds like a rest day is in order, or even a "going out somewhere local for the fun of it" day. You've already done lots!2023: the year I get to buy a car4

Electricity bill for April in at just over £100. Looking back for comparison last year it was £150 So pretty chuffed with that. May last year was £135 so I’ll be really happy if we beat that this month. Determined to not let the rubbish energy company have a reason for increasing our DD.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Feeling under the weather today so have not achieved much.Just over £10 in prolific surveys waiting to credit. Picked up a few other surveys here and there. Got an unexpected small refund on something so have put that towards the two savings pots.Looks like our tax credits are increasing by £90 a month. Really surprised at this and I’ll believe it when I see the renewal as they have continually decreased over recent years so I’m not sure why there is such an increase. If it does pan out though it will really relieve some pressure in terms of other living increases. Does mean though I’ve £110 coming in this month which wasn’t budgeted for. It’s already accounted for as we need to have a small repair to our car but very welcome all the same.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

£6 in from prolific and divvied up.Ordered one carpet this week for the smallest room and it came in over what I had expected at £312 so upped the target for the carpets to £1000 as the other two rooms are bigger. Anyway this room is all paid for, picked a really decent underlay and because we had laminate down, obviously need grippers all putting back in. 6 week delay on fitting so need to make sure I crack on saving for the other two rooms to get that on before the weather turns colder. Feels ages away but need to allow for 6 weeks (possibly more) fitting delay.Need to pop to post office today and do some baking.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Productive day in that baking was done. Post office trip done. A neighbour gave me some unwanted plants so they’ve been out in the garden.Desperately need to do some gardening and weeding this weekend.Picked up a fair few surveys including a £6 one from prolific. We overspent by £68 on the carpet so I’m working to clear that so weighting any free money slightly towards the carpet fund at the moment to get that back in the neutral.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
