Congratulations on the sub-£50k! That's a huge achievement.
It's only occurred to me in the last year how much heat can be lost from my floor in my living room - it's so shaded in the summer because of my sticky-out porch addition, and I love that for the summer, but the rest of the year, it's very cool. Got to put my thinking hat on, and I have a few ideas already.2023: the year I get to buy a car2 -
I definitely agree with it being worth paying for decent underlay. I had cheap at my previous house & you should have seen the crumb it turned into & it all had to be swept up before I left. It is also better for insulating & that is what we need for now certainly.

Money shuffles done. Just need to plod on until the end of the month. Picked up a nice £6 survey today on prolific. Just over £10 on there which I need for to clear.Should hit payout fairly soon on vrpr as that has been busy. Everywhere else pretty quiet and to be expected as it’s nearly the weekend.Did have a fleabay sale today which was unexpected. £5 ish I think after fees.As part of the heat the human thinking I bought a throw (we already have one and it’s super lovely and warm) it was in the sale down to £16.80 and I got 59p cashback.I also need to look out for decent hot water bottles for the winter. Will replace the kids as they are teeny and buy one for our bed as well.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
