Ooh, the planting sounds lovely!  I'm very lucky in this garden with regard to sweet peas - somehow, they've naturalised, and I get them both front and back (in the laurel, at the back) automatically.  I hope yours do the same.  And enjoy your slightly slower pace!

Good luck with the interview debt free. Savings pot split sounds good, I always want to throw everything at the mortgage but then you don't really feel the benefit until it's paid off, by which time our children will be nearly adults.

Another one for heat the person. Thankfully it is only me that feels the cold in this house.

Good to see you CathT! Hope you’re well.

With that said I’ve actually moved to one savings focus at the minute so first up it’s the holiday. £142.98 / £300.

Also been thinking about me for once and determined to continue to overhaul my eating habits this year. I would really like a juicer again. I’ve nearly enough Amazon vouchers saved up for once I like and it’s got £20 off so I think I’m going to take the plunge and treat myself. After that I’ve £75 to save up for two presents on there and then I’m saving up for another big ticket item for me coming in around £400 but I feel like it’s free money and I work hard at these surveys so I’m going to treat myself.

I start our food shop this week in person!  Going to sign up for mr T cc plus to get 10% off twice a month. Will load weeks 1 and 3 to make sure we get the maximum off. Be interesting to see how that goes.

If you're going to eat healthily, and there's healthy food you like, it's unbeatable :) go for it!

First food shop went well. Budget was £100 Spent £122 which came down to £114 with promotions and then got 10% off so it came in at £103. I’ve got CC+ on a months free trial so it’s costing us nothing.  Got 80p cashback on an item I would have bought anyway.  I did buy some extras which were on the list but due to us entertaining over Easter so I reckon £100 is doable for sure.  The kids were amazed at the length of the receipt!!

£10 waiting on prolific to clear. £5 voucher in from my monthly diary survey and credited to the Amazon balance.  Also reached payout on store rewards but the £2 amazon voucher option has gone missing so I might have to work up to £10 on that one!

The vouchers come and go on Storewards, it'll probably be back in a couple of days. There were Costa and pre-paid Mastercard options on there the other day, but they quickly disappeared! I'm saving up for the £10 Amazon at the moment, as that seems the best value for "money" - although have just spotted that that's disappeared as well!

Cleared 🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️🧚‍♀️!!! In 5 years, 1 month and 29 days
Total amount repaid: £72,307.03. £1.10 repaid for every £1.00 borrowed

Finally earning interest instead of paying it!!!
  • Yes just £5 Amazon showing on there now SC!

two prolific payments and a little bit of skimming pennies off pots and I’m over £200 towards the holiday payoff. £200.21 / £300.

Having a very lazy morning before venturing out later.
