Hope everyone is having a nice long weekend. We’ve been busy entertaining and seeing friends. Grateful todays plans got cancelled as we are staying put. The garden is calling me for sure. I got a plant from the Kids for Easter so need to pot that one up.Feeling very grateful this weekend for friends and our home.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Managed a few prolific surveys today and nearly £9 ready to payout.Finished binge watching Bridgerton today. Not everyone’s cup of tea but I quite enjoyed it. But of escapism.Busy week ahead in terms of kids social engagements which means mums taxi will be busy.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I fancy Bridgerton when I'm done with Outlander and Station Eleven
Good luck with the mummy taxi!2023: the year I get to buy a car4 -
Well surprise. The energy company fail again. Noticed two direct debits due to go out tomorrow for the same amount. So rang the bank and the inadequate imbeciles have indeed set up two DDS. So cancelled one so fingers crossed only one goes out. I wait with baited breath to see the amount actually credit my account. Next battle will be the increase they put on the DD!
sold an item today for £25. Surveys ticking along nicely. Did buy one birthday gift and a chair from Amazon so balance now a big fat zero. Time to start saving for the £60 birthday pressie for later in the year.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Soo one direct debit went out but two credited the energy account so my balance there is now wrong. I’m saying nothing more! 🤔
Surveys ticking along. Nearly at payout on ipsos. Still can’t cash out less than £5 on store rewards so just letting that build up. Bit of TCB requested and that’s all really in DFOD land.Current holiday balance payoff is £225.74 / £300DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

You're doing great! But honestly, the energy company
.... they take so much of your own time to sort their stuff out.

Sitting doing my monthly money juggle. Apart from the excitement of going sub 50k on the mortgage balance, I’ve also got the money for the holiday balance now so onto the next goal which is carpets! This wasn’t necessarily our plan to put carpet back into the house. We currently only have the living room with carpet but with focusing on heat retention and using the heating less we have all found the floors so much colder this year. So three bedrooms and the hall are to be carpeted. Plus we want to put in decent underlay so we aren’t going to scrimp on this. I haven’t a clue as to cost so have put £750 as a target for now. There isn’t a desperate rush as long as we do it by the autumn.More immediate plans this month are to replace another garden gate which is on its last legs and replace a small section of fence. Also the kitchen tap has sprung a tiny leak which only leaks when we use the hose but it’s needs doing.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
