Quite possibly, it doesn't say you can't but I don't know how quick they refund you the fee.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Update on to-do list!
* [STRIKE]Cancel 2 life assurance policies DH has (only small and realised the ways in which he would have to go to ensure payout were so specific - obviously he's not going anywhere anytime soon!!)[/STRIKE] - DONE
[STRIKE]* Look at our pensions at the same time to see what we would get based on the estimates, as I only ever look at these when the statements come through - no idea what the overall picture is [/STRIKE]- DONE Actually better than I thought, can't believe I've never looked at the whole picture! Retirement planning is one to keep on the back burner though and not lose sight of it.
* [STRIKE]Look at beneficiary payments through pensions and ascertain if we need additional life assurance[/STRIKE] - DONE It's OK in that we would both survive financially
* Start a food shopping challenge as of September to see if I can do our food shopping for £50 a week - ADDITION to this in that I am going to overhaul what we are eating as well!
* [STRIKE]Start doing Val Opin surveys again to try and up the earnings for Christmas [/STRIKE]- DONE - up to £1.30
* Start doing nectar surveys again, (will see how this goes, as was getting constantly screened out)
* [STRIKE]look at previous mortgage statements to see what our daily interest has been (haven't a clue) [/STRIKE]- DONE it was £18.68 so it's nearly £6 off in 5 years!
* [STRIKE]close remaining bank accounts with FD[/STRIKE] - DONE
* set up DD for S&ntander CC as this means I get the fee for this card refunded for the first year.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

A bit drizzly here today, but we are off out to the Hoe, to go up a lighthouse which the littlies don't know about, but will be beside themselves when they see it!
In terms of our food challenge, I am binning cereals. I'm going to make our own museli, and then have shredded wheat and porridge on offer - looking at labels last night, I'm amazed at cereals that I thought were ok have tons of stuff added!
Another Y0ug0v survey this morning so £6 to go to payout!

Morning DFoD
I've signed up to YGov and earned 100 points for welcoming myself. No offers yet, just lots of people commenting on my thoughts.
I accidentally pressed a wrong button and reported someone for a malicious reply, which wasn't malicious - completely unintentially! I hope she doesn't get binned off!!
Does the rate of surveys coming through increase over time?
Enjoy the lighthouse!

I'm find it a bit sporadic, it was really busy pre and post election, now I get 2/3 a week - I do them straight away so I don't miss any, but then I remember a summer of absolutely no surveys at all.
Lovely day today, the lighthouse was amazing if a little scary (for me) at the top, we went went on a car ferry (free!) which little man was chuffed with and then saw a sign for a Nat trust place so pulled in and spent 2 hours there - topped off by a cream tea and chocolate brownies!
Littlies are in bed and out like lights. Plan to go to another Nat Trust place tomorrow about 50 miles away - can't say we are not getting our moneys worth out of this membership.. there are literally so many of their places I want to do!
Need to check the bank first thing to see what's occuring there, but touch wood - the move seems to have gone so smoothly!
On that note, must email FD and tell then to shut my other accounts!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

I posted this on Ali-Ok's diary in my excitement, but the cashback tracked again for the S&ntander CC card! I really didn't think it would, so nearly £47 of cashback from them tracked and just waiting for it to become payable - I have an &m&zon order brewing!!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

We are thinking of doing English Heritage next year as we will have done so many NT places this year and there are several EH places I want to do, but figure we might wait until we get membership!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Little man had me up just before 5!! Yawn..
Think we will change our plans today, weather looks grotty until 1-2pm so I think we will hang at home. Inspired by SJ, we need to do a tip run and we have the wood to finish off cladding the wall which will look awesome when it's complete.
I need to go to Mr T to collect the last of the School uniform and I need wonder web to turn up trousers for little man, plus I'm still after my wander round the garden centre, so a take it easy day I think!
MIL sends us £50 a month and bless her with changing bank accounts, she had to set up the DD again and it's come across twice this month - but she said just to keep it so I've divvied it up between accounts and month in hand fund up to £276 and £20 earmarked for CC2, with £27 built up for the next lump sum OP.
I have a palpay dispute ongoing with non delivery of an item, hopefully that should resolve today as the company had till today to respond and they haven't, much the same as they did for me,
Pay day tomorrow, I think for DH, Either tomorrow or Wednesday - so will be nice to get paid and get going again on paying more debt!
Bit of a monster update there! Have a good day all!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
