Well done on the OP!
I cany even think about my energy supplier situation - I basically need to get on the phone for a few hours . ughDON'T BUY STUFF (from Frugalwoods)
No seriously, just don’t buy things. 99% of our success with our savings rate is attributed to the fact that we don’t buy things... You can and should take advantage of discounts.... But at the end of the day, the only way to truly save money is to not buy stuff. Money doesn’t walk out of your wallet on its own accord.

Pretty chuffed to have reached payout with 1poll again today. It was two months ago I last reached it so that was much quicker. Potential earnings of £150 each year if it stays at that rate. One car had MOT yesterday and passed with only a bulb of £1.50 needing replacing. We were expecting more so chuffed with that. Will submit meter reading again today and it’s still way below what the supplier was given as the starting balance so it looks like we are in negative credit. Still having hassle with old supplier which has gone bust and records haven’t transferred over to replacement supplier to get this meter reading sorted. Also applied for tax relief for working from home for DH backdated to March 20 as he isn’t going back to the office so figured we might as well.Still waiting to hear from PPI tax claims
Hopefully some of this comes good in the next few weeks so we have some extra money.Annoying I’m £5.03 away from reaching my free money / money earned goal for 2021. Hoping to find that some where this week.Anyone else finding pr0lific exceedingly slow with surveys lately?DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

My comment about pr0lific obviously did something as I had 4 surveys yesterday and reached payout so I’ve achieved my earned / free money goal of £1500 this year. I also had 500 points added into i-Say from a product review so I added £5 to the am@zon balance.Very quiet weekend planned here. Need a bit of R&R after some very busy weeks.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

You know you can't just reach target two months early and pat yourself on the back - what's the new target 🤣??? Seriously though, £1500 in 10 months is flipping brilliant! Well done you!Mortgage start: £65,495 (March 2016)

Enjoying a slow half term with the kids. Going out tomorrow to pick pumpkins and do a little shopping after the Tesco app outage at the weekend!
Prolific really has picked up this week so snaffled some surveys on there and waiting for them to credit.Paydays Friday but I’ve already divvied everything up. We have the balance of a little holiday to pay for this month so no OPs or savings this month. Will plod on with surveys and thanks to Christmas / birthday shopping - there is a bit of cashback to credit.Still getting nowhere with our energy supplier/s hassle. Still no bills and still no sign of the money we are owed. I’ve reached 8 weeks now so will give them both until after the weekend and then submit a complaint to the Ombudsman as this is crazy. As soon as it is sorted I’m leaving our current supplier pronto.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
