Rained again overnight but there is some sun out there. Plan for today is to finish two stools we are making. Wood we already had, we just bought the legs. The table, bench and chairs have cost about £100 in total but way cheaper than buying something this solid new and we got it just how we wanted so really pleased.DH picked up three bikes from a friends family yesterday for free so also need to have a good look at them. They need some love but hopefully DH, DS and myself will be able to have one. DD got given one by the neighbour in lockdown so very lucky we all potentially got new to us bikes for free.Happy Sunday all.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

That's brilliant about the bikes, the children have bikes but Dh and I don't. Will keep an eye out locally as i would love family bike rides especially now they are getting bigger and more confident.Hope the rain holds off for you to get your jobs done. It's a mixed bag of weather at the moment isn't it.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!2

That good news on the bikes, even with a bit of TLC but will be much cheaper than buying.1

So weather held on. All three bikes assembled and we did a very very short ride. My legs and butt certainly felt it the next day though.Next load of wood ordered to build a huge planter and finish off the fence.Did a huge walk yesterday with friends and so back is feeling it today.Just finished food order to be delivered tomorrow.Quieter day. Home ed done for today. One reading. One writing a story. I’m drinking tea!DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Success (kind of) on another refund. Email to CEO of Argus secured the 10% refund as it was obvious that was all they were prepared to give. Annoying but just the one refund to go with jeteasy!OP of £9.77 made today From a few fleabay sales and £1 survey done this morn. It’s raining so quiet day at home (again!!).This middle of the month part is so boring MSE wise.

Still waiting for the refund from Argus so had to chase that yesterday. I’m really surprised at the poor service from them at this time.£6 OP made today bringing June to £304.95 and a few more surveys done. Sold two fairly chunky items, including DS bike so money earned looking good this month.

I think it’s Friday. DH is off and it’s looking like a very chilled out day. Jobs to do in the garden which I might do or might not!! If not they are a definite tomorrow job. Need to go buy some compost tomorrow and a grow bag. Hub is planning to build another planter for me as well. Expensive filling these things. My finger is hovering over the buy button on a rose as well to climb up a trellis arch we put in.Apart from that, nothing much happening here. It’s a bit misty today and almost chilly. But I don’t want to sound ungrateful after frying for the last two days.Few more surveys done.Money earned £169.52June OPs £304.95
