Payment from academic surveys in, bit miffed palpay take a fee on it, anyway, £2 ready to OP off the mortgage this week and CC3 down to £454.01. Will put another £5 to that and then stop for this month and send any pennies that come in to the home and kids pots which are over by £50 this month. Home due to bedding purchase and kids due to School hols!!!

Trying to debate what to do with my payrise, whether to send it to the debt each month or up the mortgage OP as then I won't miss it - I talk like it's hundreds of pounds, who knows how much it'll be, I'm thinking maybe £20ish actual take home difference. Will probably up the mortgage. They wrote to me yesterday telling me how much I could OP this year without incurring a charge (like I'm going to get anywhere near that amount!!!!)

Washing is on, will get that pegged out and then off out for the day, spends should be £2 each for the egg hunt, and a cuppa for me. so minimal spends really.

Wasn't sure about Thirteen in the end.. but nice to watch something different. Thank goodness Blacklist is back this week!!

Starting looking at property on Scottish islands this week. DH thinks I've lost the plot. But you get a whole lot of property and land for your money - and a lot of peace and quiet. Will mull that one over for a while..

Just moved £5 from fuel account to CC3, so it's under target at £449.01. Will see how the rest of the month goes now as to whether any more gets put towards it. Next month aim would be under £200 and then clear on May payday.. with focus moving to CC5 then which is still on track to be gone by August. Makes me want to rethink paying the pay rise off the mortgage.. hmmm

Anyway off to do some surveys. 20p on 1poll yesterday - 20P!!! rubbish.. will never reach payout at that rate!

Three fleabay sales last night has bought in £20 and divided up towards putting some pots back in credit, but couldn't help myself and £2 off CC3 and £3 towards this weeks mortgage OP. Still waiting for p-base to credit ppal so that can cover the cost of postage. Two more items listed as well.

Reached payable on m1ntv1ne again, but need all the survey credit to move from pending to approved before I can request that withdrawal.
    YG - up to £36.25
    Ips0s - 708 points
    1poll - £36.20 (managed 45p yesterday)
    Pr0filic - £4.20 with £1.25 pending (once that cleared, I can withdraw)

Weather is currently wet, but predicted to brighten up - think we will have a mooching about sort of day.

Septic tank emptied yesterday, so bill of £280 on the way..

That's all from me today. Have a good day all.

Actually just looking at the utilities account and it's rather healthy, so I've nabbed £28 and again divided this up between pots. With the water bill paid and the £280 accounted for, for the septic tank, I've three months before a bill needs to come out of here again.

CC3 now stands at £437.01 and £10 ready for a mortgage OP. Now I really want CC3 under £400 this month. If I can get there with 1poll, then I'll commit that £40 straight to CC3.

Right must stop looking at my already lean accounts to see where I can carve off pennies here and there. House account and littlies account looking a bit less 'red' now. Hopefully get these back in credit by the end of the month.

The survey tracked on Prolific so £5.40 on the way to me.

Managed 20p so far on 1poll.

Also sent £10 Op to the mortgage.

Feeling a bit frustrated with the sun out.. I really want to get the back garden slabbed before the summer. Will get DH to price it up.. but realistically it will take us 3/4 months to save up unless I curb the debt payoff for two months.

Feels wrong to consider that, but then I'm always of the opinion of life goes on and I can pay out debt in the winter. Not helped by the arrival of a veg growing book I ordered which now has me full of ideas about my potting shed.. This'll be the third summer the outside has been a work in progress and although we made massive progress last year with just the slabbing left to do, it's frustrating..

That makes perfect sense, provided the winter isn't "well, we need to spend X extra for Christmas, and now it's January so we're treating ourselves to Y". ;) Not saying you would, just that it's easy for the rationalisations (which seem completely sensible at the time) to continue and continue and never get accounted for.

Thinking about it, I think what I will do is let the house account go into the red, given that the money we are putting towards CC3 is still on our bank account rather than off the actual card as I'd rather it builds up in our account and then I just pay the minimum each month.

We are going to measure up tonight and will stop off by the builders merchants tomorrow to get a rough price. We have the sides of the house to do and a strip at the back to be broken up by a few stone sections (but not many) Will then leave space for the man shed and potting shed to be built, which won't be this year, but I'm cool with that.

Managed another 15p on 1poll. up to £36.45 now. Be lucky if I make £37 by the end of this week

  • Not sure if you know but P@ypal do not take a fee from your PAcademic earnings if it is more than £20. I let mine build up now :)
