Oohhhh a house move nearer the coast sounds lovely DF0D. We are about 2 hours from the sea so I could never see us moving, but it would be lovely xxMummytogirls x0

We are about 10 mins from the coast now in the car, it's more we can't go anywhere without a car. Think the plan is to go and visit this area at the weekend as we've been twice I think but more as a visit and certainly not with living there in mind.
30p on 1poll this morning, am on fire there. (not)DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Adjusted the money coming in this month to include the £50 I hadn't budgeted for and CC3 now reduced to £490.94 :j Yey it's under £500, really happy with that. will keep plugging away to get it under £450 this month.
Mortgage OP for next week at £3.84 (found some pennies I'd forgotten about), in fact I'll send that today and include in this week's OP - make the mortgage company work a bit more for their pennies!
Having a much needed quiet day at home today, need to do Mr T order, a little bit of work and catch up on washing etc.
Balanced accounts today as loads goes out on the 1st, submitted meter readings and will also try to do a few surveys throughout the day. Still not tracked on p-base, so hopefully by Monday. Up to £35.65 on 1poll. so close to payout. Aiming to hit that before the end of the holidays!
Kids need a bath and we need to do some of their reading books for School.
All in all, ready for a nice family day, just a shame Mr DFOD has gone back to work :-(DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Hi DFOD, sounds as though you are balancing the budget really well.
I'm also waiting on a £4 p-base survey to clear so I can cash out, I don't know if you have checked your emails from them today but I've just accepted for a £5 survey which is trialling a product, just giving you the heads up just in case.0 -
Thank you PWPS, I did that survey as well and got accepted. Rather a fan of these product tests.
About the only surveys around today, though did get a few hundred points on M1ntv1ne. Absolutely nothing on 1poll.
Grandparents have just sent £10 for the littlies for Easter, so that's straight off CC3 as they will mark it on their charts and when they get to buying something, the money comes out of their pot that we put aside each month.

Agree that 0nep0ll is pants at the minute, I'm only on £8 and only had about 30p in surveys this week, I know it usually slows down when close to redemption but I think surveys are becoming less and less with them. I remember a time when I could make at least £1 a day with them.0

I always think it's quiet on School hols as well. If I happen to be at home working, I usually do get a £1 a day. Fridays are the worst day though with them!
Reached payable overnight on p-base, so requested £10 and left the extra £2.60 in there towards the next withdrawal.
£5 reward in from the bank and £4 sent to CC3 and £1 towards next week's OP on the mortgage.
CC3 now standing at £476.99 (£27 to go to this months target! and £15.40 in survey rewards on the way to help that along)
Looks a bit mizzy out there today, off to get a draught excluder for the new back door today and maybe a few other little bits we need for the house.
Talked through the other night what we would need to do to get the house sale ready for the minimal cost.
Kitchen needed painting and the door needs finishing off, (plastering and skirting)
Bathroom needs regrouting, new sink taps and repapering / painting - also a new bathroom cabinet needed as the one we inherited is truly 'special' - but functional all the same.
The only other large bit of work is the back garden to be slabbed to finish that off.
It's rubbish when you decide to move as you don't want to spend another penny on the property, but we know we must to get the best possible price.
Interestingly when I spoke to the mortgage company, they said the value was now £190. Really tempted to get the estate agent out that sold next door to get their opinion.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)

Well a day of scouting out locations to live prompted a lot of conversation again and we think we were really lucky with this property in that we got a bargain (obviously needed work) and to be able to get something even remotely similar, we'd have to increase the mortgage which we are not willing to do at any cost.
As I'm not great at being undecided at stuff, we've agreed to park a house move for now. We'll get an estate agent out to value at some point and carry on with some of the jobs we need to do regardless of whether we move or stay.
I think we'll be in the same situation when we moved here, very few properties in our bracket and then you sell and are in a position where you have to choose. I don't want to rent in the middle of a house move, house purchase.
Anyhoo back to today, Dh is off to get four chairs for the kitchen we got off bookface for £25, and then I'll put four of ours on the selling site and hopefully we should only lose £5. Also off to see a piano later being offered for free. I've wanted a piano for ages and a friend gave me the heads up to this free one. Obviously if we like it, we would need to hire a man / van to move it.
Aside from that, will get out with some kites if the weather improves. Can't believe only one week of the hols is gone, feels like we've been off for ages.
Paid DH credit card bill today minus 5p. They usually write off small balances each month so hey 5p saved there. Small tidy up in the accounts means 41p added to CC3.DFW (08/08) £64,346.53 Gone (02/19)
