With hindsight - I've decided not to pay this off this month.. it would mean putting us in a tight position should anything go wrong and for the sake of four weeks, I'm going to do it in two halves and share out the money into our various pots!

But come 26th June - it will be GONE forever!

Sneaky weigh in as I'd rather have a Saturday weigh in and it's 2lb off - happy with that for two days in!

I also booked a camping break today - part of the thinking with not paying the loan off yesterday was as always, life does go on and life is for living.. paying off debt has never been about compromising massively on life and the littlies will not be young forever! It was a place I'd been following on fb for a while and strangely enough - I emailed them last night to check availability and then offers came up for it on a travel site this morning at 41% off - that's a sign for me! So all booked up!

Supposed to be dry today, so swimming lessons as normal and then some work around the house.. pegging out raised planters again and then measuring up for the next order of wood...

Tomorrow we are off to a big town as littlies need a few items of clothes and we've promised them an end of half term treat for good behaviour.

That's an amazing achievement and I think it's thoroughly sensible to pay it off next month so you don't leave yourselves short.

Enjoy your holiday, you really deserve it!

So final figure is through from the bank and I need to find £658.64.. With the monthly payment, I have £275.09. so far.. so that's £383.55 to find.. watch this space!

In other news, my hours got increased at work and backdated a few months, so should get £250 ish extra next month..

I lost 14lb, that's the first stone gone - whoop!

Stoopid power company called and upped the compensation, but I told them where to go and they are sending me the final letter so I'll take it to the ombudsman then.. It's not really about the money for me now.. it's the principle.. they admitted on the phone to me that they haven't offered any resolution to me, so they are not in the best position!

I think that's about all my news here!

Good on you for taking it to the ombudsman. I'm terrible for letting big companies off but I get ridiculously stressed over things like that. Hopefully you'll get it all sorted easily.

Well done on 14lbs lost!! Amazingly, I'm over 3 weeks in and still sticking to it! In the past I've never managed to eat healthily for more than a week. It's very motivating when you see the number on the scales going down.

£40 in from OP surveys, so that's £343.55 left to find..

Frustratingly, I popped over the credit limit on my 0% interest free card, so it looks like they are charging me interest now.. grrrr - need to get that amount moved asap now.. really annoyed with myself for doing that.. I can get a 6.9% fixed on another card.. so might just do that as trying to apply for another 0% and get the credit need I need isn't going to be easy or quick? - My own fault anyway!

Still waiting for the letter from the power company.. hoping that will arrive today as keen to get the complaint raised - it'll take a bit of typing and tracking back through records and dates of calls and emails!

Need to get wood ordered today for the raised beds.. think the next few months will just consist of wood and more wood from the house budget.

Looking forward to the weekend.. sun and more sun.. not much we can get done in the garden as we need the wood, though we have loads to clear rubbish wise.. last bits of conservatory still hanging around, hoping to find someone who wants scrap metal and will pick it up for free. Apart from that DH needs to do a few tip runs!

Well a grumble at the credit card company and I got my 0% reinstated! Phew! Am well clear of the limit now and not using the card, so all will be fine there.

Still no deadlock letter from the power company - they are sooo crap!
