If the Scots are entitled to another referendum, then shouldn't the Welsh; NI; and yes English also be asked if they want an independence referendum?

We are renowned for queueing, us Brits. The Scots can wait their turn ;)

It's quite simple. Vote for a party who will hold a referendum.

    Hey presto :)

Perhaps you should take a little more water with it especially at this time of day.

As proud as I am that you feel that my analysis of Scottish politics is worthy of HAMISH I am not him.

    He-he. I've just edited after I realised.

You may or may not like my edit...

I can only blame the sun & the heat in Marrakech. Us scots can't handle it. Fries our brains :rotfl:

The SNP can't deliver that of course as only the UK Government can grant a referendum on independence and at present the SNP only stand in a small minority of seats.

The SNP could morph into the "referendum party"; a UK wide party committed to future referendums on all sorts of things.

There would of course have to be a referendum on which referendums people felt were most important to cover first, and then referendums to determine the precise running order of future referendums.

I sense a growth business to replace oil revenues in Scotland here ;)

I believe the NI peace agreement established that there could be a referendum in NI to decide whether they wished to stay part of the UK.

The people of Wales know where the money tree is only too well.

That just leaves the people of England............

Interesting news. I don't think it will be a campaign as such though. After reading it appears to be a drive to build support for Independence.

I look forward to hearing more.
