Then we will see if you think there can be better :)

But that's rubbish. All that happens is the self-serving elite are in Holyrood not Westminster. The only way you can run your own affairs is to get the Government out of your life; moving it makes no difference except you lose a massive subsidy and a pool of talent.

There are rubbish politicians that speak with all sorts of accent. For every Anthony Eden there's a Gordon Brown.

That's where it's up to us to keep an eye on them ... I keep an eye on mine and I know others that keep an eye on theirs ... we're getting quite good at this now :)

Ultimately though personally I would like to see power transferred and decisions made at a more local level ... this will take time though ... but if others want it ... it should happen

If that's really what Scottish people want then of course they should have independence. The fact is that the decisions of the first Scottish Government would be how to manage a huge decline in spending on the things that some Scottish people appear to think would have more spent on them upon independence.

Are you really happy to see cancers go untreated, kids go with a vastly lower quality (or at least cheaper) education and poor people have their welfare payments cut so that your Government sits a couple of hundred miles closer to where you live?

It just seems like such a petty vandalism. Wrecking the lives of millions of people for a marginal political gain at best.

It's the EU, not Westminster, that stipulates Cal Mac can't have the ferry contract without others tendering. It's the EU that insists on the tampon tax, not Westminster.

These and thousands of other rules are set in stone by the EU.

If you think decisions will be made closer to home, think again.

That's where it gets really interesting :)

What I would LOVE to see is the UK as a whole voting to leave the EU... Scotland voting to stay so being dragged out ... causing a second indy ref ... Scotland voting for indy and being out of the EU... then being able to negotiate terms that suit us ... maybe EFTA or something

So independence and no EU ... there's a few of us that quite like that idea

Ahhh Tis the stuff of dreams that is :)

Loads of people in Scotland want out the EU but will vote to stay in ... just incase it gets them closer to indy

Others think we'll I would rather be ruled by EU than WM ... there's obviously a lot of differing opinions in Scotland of which I don't know all

All you end up is being on the outside looking in like a Dickensian character furtively peering through the snow onto a great feast.
