  • Ah Shakey, I refer you to your own comments...

Unless of course, the liars are SNP politicians and the people are SNP supporters.

Well, seeing as how you mentioned it... :)

Riiight... never mind then. Get back to me then when it's 100% 'proven' that the email address wasn't 'harvested' as she claims and she's lying. Neither of which has happened yet. Not that am particularly interested in anything to do with this story as I've said. This isn't Scottish politics at all. It's private lives.

I assume that the Scottish media are ransacking through her bins, hacking her phone and trawling through millions of web chats as we speak in order to dig something/anything up. They won't let a chance like this go by easily.
It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?

Indeed, the poor lady is having a hard time -- but, looking on the bright side, she can claim her right to be forgotten, and have all references to her demeanour, or misdemeanor, expunged.

I shall do my bit and try to forget her as soon as possible. Come to that the sooner we can forget all of that SNP crowd the better.

You'll probably be waiting a while for that. :)

EUROPEAN Union bosses have frozen more than £45million of money destined for scores of projects across Scotland – because of a blunder by the Scottish Government.

Shocking lack of competence from the SNP government.

Is that the responsibility of John Swinney?

Let's put this email spoofing/harvesting in context.

I might be able to guess/know the email address of someone in the public eye, like this SNP lady.

It's unlikely I will get her other details correct.

The fact is some people in the public eye have been careless with their details :

    http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/08/20/the_ashley_madison_files_are_people_really_this_stupid/

The details check out in a number of cases.

100 .gov.uk email addresses, so not one or two.

When you sign in to a government computer, there is a warning page presented about inappropriate use.

If you choose to ignore these warnings, it's your decision alone.

Have they 'harvested' her credit card details as well?

I have coordinated test attacks on large systems as part of my work.

The weakest link is invariably human. Harvesting is just an excuse for blame shifting.
