They spun you a big fat one on that.
Equal partners? You shouldn't believe everything you are told.
It's a nonsense term anyway. Should it really mean 50 odd MPs carry as much weight as 500+ other MPs?

Yes of course it is.
You cannot have a party involved in running the Union they have vowed to break up.
The main UK parties can no more do a deal with the SNP than they can with Sinn Fein.
If you want a voice within a party that has a chance of gaining power you only have two choices, Labour or Conservative.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

In this instance a geographical area within the UK with the self confidence to vote for independence.
In this case self confidence was trumped by common sense. A majority realised they were getting a pretty good deal in the Union. Recent events re: oil have only confirmed this further.
They were the smart ones, make no mistake0 -

And how will that play out with scots if their elected representatives are frozen out?0 -
It's the violence towards the leader of a legitimate political party that did it for me and Salmond's refusal to say anything to suggest that the 'protestors' (violent thugs in reality) had done anything wrong.
I don't claim and have never claimed that every SNP supporter is a racist. The SNP is a racist organisation however.
Have you ever been made aware of the violence towards people that vote SNP ? or want independence?0 -

Is it fair & just if Scotland sends a majority of SNP MP's to Westminster that they are frozen out?
Is it fair & proper that scots MP's in Westminster should abstain from voting even if the issue has a direct impact on issues in Scotland?
You keep going over and over the same thing. It is tiresome. I'm happy to debate it if and when it is actually on the table. Until then I'll say to you again you should lobby your MP & government about issues that concern you and let your voice be heard.
Only an idiot could miss interpret their words like you do.
Scottish MP will have an equal vote just like any other MP : no more and no less.
It is 100% fair and proper that Scottish MPs should abstain on any issue that have been devolved otherwise that is grossly unfair to the rest of the people of the UK.
If they feel the issues are too interlinked, then they should return the devolved issues to Westminster, where they would have a full and fair single vote like all the other UK MPs.
Not with standing whether an issue is an active issue on the table, you could still be a decent and fair minded human being and support equality and fairness for all the people of the UK.
Current you seem to support an outrageous undemocratic idea that 5 million votes in Scotland should equal 60 million in the RoUK.0 -

Err I voted Yes. I didn't believe a word of it. Don't worry.
What are you on about. How would 50 MP's carry as much weight as ( and you got your sums wrong ) 600 other MP's ? If it truly IS a UK wide parliament. Why all the hysterics over Scotland sending 40 or 50 out of that lot ?
What exactly is your problem with that kabayri? Because you seem to have one. I'm lost...and I'm starting to think you definitely are.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -

Well it clearly won't make the slightest bit of difference to the 45% or so of the voter turnout that will vote SNP, as they are already voting for a party that has vowed to break up the UK.
The majority however, that do not support either independence or the SNP, will learn that it is not possible at the moment to split the majority Unionist vote between three parties while the minority Separatist vote coalesces behind one party.
Electing the SNP can only diminish Scotland's influence in the UK.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.
Belief in myths allows the comfort of opinion without the discomfort of thought.”

Can you show me the pictures or video/audio tapes where Labour or Tory supporters are outside an SNP rally threatening to Execute Nicola sturgeon?
How about any of Labour or Tory supporters video taping children entering an SNP convention and screaming that their parents are traitors?
No?
Didn't think so....
And for reference, both those things happened this week from SNP supporters.
It is totally out of control, and most (not all, but most) of the abuse is coming from the SNP camp.“The great enemy of the truth is very often not the lie – deliberate, contrived, and dishonest – but the myth, persistent, persuasive, and unrealistic.

So what do you do with all those voters then ? Jail them ? The 'blame' for the rise of the SNP ( if you want to phrase it like that ) rests entirely with the voters themselves. If the UK parties cannot deal with the SNP, and Scotland returns a majority of SNP MP's... then the UK has a bit of a problem.
I love that your 'solution' is just to vote for approved parties as deemed acceptable by Westminster. Folks like you would still have the Whigs in charge, and only landowners having the vote using that logic lol.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0
