Salmond and Sturgeon Want the English Fish for More Fat Subsidies

If you ignore the media and ask the man on the street, a large chunk of England seems to be quite receptive to the rise of the SNP. It's quite refreshing sometimes to hear they're not all brainwashed by the Daily Mail, the Telegrah and the likes.
They know the 2-party system has been screwing them over and they want other options. The establishment and its cronies are desperate to keep that under wraps, but the cat's out the bag. It's just unfortunate for the English that the best they can muster is a bunch of funny-looking, and acting, Tory rejects.
The poor sods.
of course a large chuck of England thought Nick Clegg was a wonderful chap on a few years ago
they have a track record of getting carried away without actually knowing any of the policies : but they get it right a bit later0 -

What, like the Scottish referendum that the SNP foisted on the majority of Scots that didn't want to leave the UK?
Yet they still have the break up of the UK as a key policy and will doubtless be pushing for it continuously.0 -
Surely if Cameron were to act in Tory self interest he would have encouraged Scotland to become independent? This would have weakened his main opposition party, Labour, significantly.
Perhaps he really does believe in the Union. He certainly believes Scotland is worth investing in during years of low oil revenue. This is worth billions as Hamish points out.0 -

He believes in taking billions from the people who voted him into office and giving it away? And you still vote for him?
He must be some chap.0 -
A Conservative government would review Scottish devolution to ensure the rest of the UK will not "lose out", he said.

At bleeding last. Thinly veiled threat to change the Barnett formula. And he can now do it because he said he would before the election.
Its a vote winner and a game changer for Dave IMHO. Nothing to lose in Scotland......promise to spend the £7bn a year saving on NHS education across swathes of England and he's home and dry.illegitimi non carborundum0 -

Strictly speaking, around here we voted for the LibDems. More precisely the MP who brokered the deal with the Tories.
That makes us Coallition supporters I guess. You may think we are all talking about SNP here in Northern England but at best there is passing interest. It has been a successful coallition, where 90% of the policies are shared.0 -

Even in Scotland, politics is show business for ugly people Volty!
'Jimmy Krankie' Sturgeon is a case in point and Salmond looks like a right 'wrong un'!“Britain- A friend to all, beholden to none”. 🇬🇧0 -

I think that comment is all that is wrong with British politics.
Quite sad, really.
You obviously prefer bloated men, dull, greying middle-aged men. Perhaps you see them as a more successful version of yourself?
I knew there were a few like you around here. You all like to stick together, eh?0 -

Play it down, there's a good chap.0
