And it was also Shake who was quick off the mark to first draw anyone's attention to it. Lol. I knew nothing about it until late last night.
I couldn't give a toss whether it was said directly or loosely inferred in some way, or not. She's normally very cautious, guarded and well rehearsed, so can't see her slipping up.
It's widely known another 5 years of Conservative government won't harm SNPs long term goal. As will a Labour led government, or minority government. For the present time anyway.0 -

Despite being a lioness , hasn't seemed to help some of her own constituents over the past 7 years in Govanhill, who organised a protest over their living conditions, bedbugs, rats, public disorder and hand in a petition while passing her office. The last of the 3 reader comments on the article is informative.

My first link after advice, hope it works. No doubt her supporters will blame Glasgow council for mismanagement or Westminster, but remember, despite Glasgow (along with a few other big areas ) having had significantly higher than average unemployment and sickness and disability figures, for decades , it also has a large number of pretty well off residents, benefitting from council tax freezes over the past 7 years. As well as free Uni tuition, for their kids and free social home care for their parents if their disability care needs meet the spec. Populist policies you see, helps to keeps the more traditional middle class , idealist SNP voters onside.0 -

This is the link I think. Can't see comments on my phone though.0 -
the SNP have
-voted to make the first minister the highest paid politician in the UK
-voted to heavily subsidise all the Scottish fat cats who otherwise would pay their own Uni fees.
-introduces policies to discourage the creation of new jobs and so maintain high social spending
-refused to recognise the evidence based research that sure start is an educational failure.
-reduced real investment in education in favour of heavy subsidies for fat cats at Uni (as above)
-refused to provide quality housing for hard working families by keeping single people in heavily subsidised 3-4 bed houses with child friendly gardens
-gleefully supported SNP politicians who have exercised the Thatcherite 'right to buy' policy
-declared war on the English (except where accepting handouts of lots of loot is concerned )
-have helped wealth distribution by discouraging new business enterprises and encouraging successful business people to move south.
SNP have laid a very firm foundation to cut jobs and new enterprises and encourage the best scots to flee south.
You could do a lot worse for yourself by moving north : you won't be missed
Aww, poor Clapton. This really is desperate, desperate stuff. Even the standard anti-Scotland posters haven't given you a like on this one out of sheer embarrassment!0 -

You only had to read the article to work out who the residents blame.
"Fiona Jordan, one of the event's organisers, said: "The reason for the petition and the march is essentially as a vote of no confidence in Glasgow City Council to keep us safe and for the people of Govanhill to live in a safe, clean environment."
But I imagine you understand the circumstances better than those living there.0 -
I never thought I'd get a post thanked by CLAPTON, STD and zag!
It looks like the Civil Service have indirectly confirmed that the story about the French ambassador:
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/politics/11515842/Cabinet-secretary-orders-inquiry-into-how-Nicola-Sturgeons-comments-were-leaked.html
I still don't really understand why it's a story.
Funny!
I think we now understand why it's a story, eh?
It only provides further evidence of how rotten your establishment is.
Desperate, desperate times down there. The Scottish editor for The Telegraph on a £20K bonus from his boss for helping to deliver a No vote in the referendum.0 -

Sturgeon says claims on memo 100% untrue.

Scotland Office official releasing an apparently faked document.
We all know the Telegraph has form for providing its readers with false news.
It doesn't matter to Scotland who she prefers, as Labour and the Tories are essentially two cheeks of the same @rse.0 -

What form?
Sturgeon said the account of her conversation was 100% untrue.
I don't believe anyone of relevance has claimed otherwise.
Civil service has form on this as well:

Regarding the Telegraph, ask Peter Oborne.
Your English press is rotten to its core.0
