Sturgeon is a lioness, a warrior queen. Scots can vote SNP with confidence and satisfaction knowing that their MPs will work tirelessly for the benefit of their constituents.

What will my, permanently Tory MP work to do? Well on past form he will vote to :
    • Give himself a payrise
    • Increase tuition fees
    • Cut social welfare
    • Cut Sure Start
    • Cut investment in education
    • Torment council tenants due to their bedrooms while totally ignoring large swathes of prime London property sitting empty all year while their tax dodging non dom owners enjoy double digit housing inflation
    • Veto local housing developments
    • Declare war on people who have done nothing to me
    • Ignore anything that may distribute wealth more equally

And this is why we are facing a hung parliament. Delightful to see these self serving shallow ninnies pinned and wriggling by a minority party. Cameronillipede cannot feel enough shame and discomfort in my opinion. They care nothing for their own country, how delightfully apposite it should take a Scottish Nationalist to expose that.

She did very well in the the debates didn't she ? Cameron was very poor, he can't even smile at the camera without looking like he's swallowed a wasp. Natalie what's her name from the greens quite useless. Milliband did quite well but looked ill. Farrage is just getting boring and looked very ill. We're not going to leave euro land anyway so he is just become a pointless side show. Welsh nats woman came accross well also in a very Welsh kind of way. Cleggy managed to hold his own, that might have been a game changer for lib dems. However SNP stole the show.

I could foresee an ENP, WNP and NINP at this rate. Not good for the Union at all.
Proudly voted remain. A global union of countries is the only way to commit global capital to the rule of law.

    the SNP have

-voted to make the first minister the highest paid politician in the UK
-voted to heavily subsidise all the Scottish fat cats who otherwise would pay their own Uni fees.
-introduces policies to discourage the creation of new jobs and so maintain high social spending
-refused to recognise the evidence based research that sure start is an educational failure.
-reduced real investment in education in favour of heavy subsidies for fat cats at Uni (as above)
-refused to provide quality housing for hard working families by keeping single people in heavily subsidised 3-4 bed houses with child friendly gardens
-gleefully supported SNP politicians who have exercised the Thatcherite 'right to buy' policy
-declared war on the English (except where accepting handouts of lots of loot is concerned )
-have helped wealth distribution by discouraging new business enterprises and encouraging successful business people to move south.

SNP have laid a very firm foundation to cut jobs and new enterprises and encourage the best scots to flee south.

You could do a lot worse for yourself by moving north : you won't be missed

Hmm, I've just had to go back to page 1 to confirm it was you who started this thread and it was! What has happened to your vitriol directed at SNP? I'm intrigued........

I do like the 'new & improved' ruggedtoast much better :rotfl:

Indeed it is so that basically people are similar all over the world.
It certainly illustrate the similarly of the peoples of the UK. Nothing at all particularly special about the people living in the northern regions of the UK.
Only the true cultists see the differences.

And it is also true, that true acolytes amoungst all faiths will happily quote nonsense anecdotes if they are favourable to the great leader and the cause but rubbish any others.

Nothing unusual about that : propaganda as in its crudest but none the less effective: it helps to maintain the true faith amoungst the chosen ones.

If by similarities you mean that its very natural for the people of a country to want to govern themselves and be the ones best equipped to make their own decisions .... Why then I think for the first time ever I may actually agree with you .... Well done it didn't take you too long to understand ;)
