2022 new SNP members since the debate
Wonder how many new members Labour etc have since the debate0 -
To be fair that's not the only reference to nationalism they make the N in SNP is kinda nationalist as well
But yes thy are far removed from what a lot of people deem "Nationalism" to be
Still one person's attention to detail is the next's pedantic nitpicking.2022 new SNP members since the debate

Sounds like Project Fear all over again.
You are absolutely seething that your old boys' network may be disrupted.
It's glorious.
And it's idiots like you that mean that the SNP can never govern the UK.
You remember the story of the wind and the sun trying to get the coat off the man?
You and all the other losers that agree with you are exactly what the English don't want within a hundred miles of Government and rightly so. It's like putting those idiots hanging off the crossbar at Wembley in charge of things.0 -

Losers? Idiots? That's quite a harsh tone you're taking there.
Your football simile is quite relevant, particularly considering your football team fails to deliver on its promises every 4 years.
You're completely rattled. Glorious.0 -

That's as may be but if the SNP seek to run The UK as well as Scotland then these are the fears they need to address. From what I've read and seen of the debate Sturgeon gets it.
We can argue the toss about how Scottish Nationalism is somehow different to other sorts but the fact is that if the SNP is going to play a meaningful role in British politics this needs to be understood. Sturgeon gets it. STD is stuck in her fantasy world where 2% of the electorate tells the 98% how it is.
For a start if you leave the word "National" in the title, you are allowing people to assume the Nationalist aspirations.
Even silly old UKIP don't make that mistake.
You can't play a meaningful long term role in British politics if your long term goal is to operate as a successful; even competing; independent entity. Conflicting goals will come into play at some point.
It's like squaring a circle. Do it and it's no longer a circle!0 -
...
I sometimes wonder whether the SNP should spread their franchise across the north of England, setting up regional autonomy parties for England's remote regions, which often feel neglected by Westminster and metropolitan interests.
Of course they should.
There are different means to achieving ones goals, but they should also anticipate a response from the mainstream. Harsh reality it may be, but we need London money - all of us.
Politics can be a dirty business.0 -

Only a harsh tone with you.
You simply don't understand what the SNP has to do to get another step down the road. It's going to be great fun watching the hooligan element such as you wreck your own dreams.
Sturgeon understands that she needs the English on side. You? What do you think the next step is?0
