These are not real powers, they are powers that will if anything strangle the SG .... Linda Fabiani, John Swinney, Patrick Harvie and Maggie Chapman have a lot to answer for ... I have a meeting with Linda Fabiani to hear her excuses for their behaviour, i will be very surprised if there is anything they can say that will make me believe they didnt sell out the people of Scotland....
I'm sure that will be the high point of her week.0 -
Aye I can imagine ... She will be desperate to catch up with me0
-
PS it's a meeting where there are a few people going to ask questions not just me, just incase you think I know her personally lol0

Some of us don't want more powers in Holyrood, but rather for it to be abolished completely, and all powers to revert to Westminster.
What you also have to remember is : the SNP wanted devo Max on the ballot but were denied this by David Cameron, it was an all or nothing, so the SNP agreed ( even though this wasn't what they wanted as it was well known the people wanted devo Max more than independence)
And it wasn't till the yes campaign came ahead in the polls that a compromise was offered, they people were offered a compromise of staying within the UK but with Devo Max/ as near to federalism as is possible, the people wanted this to begin with ( majority of people not all obviously) some of the parties including labour wanted this ( ask Jim Murphy) because they know this will benefit Scotland greatly . research after the event shows that people want devo Max which is not what is currently on offer, we don't even have devo dilute0 -
In the case of the smith commission it was to ensure the vow was delivered
The near to federalism and Devo Max that was promised by Gordo
Devo Max is open to interpretation, but the common idea amongst the nats (*) that it is FFA plus maximum subsidies was not promised by the Vow.
It was the Vow which was definitive, not campaign speeches by ex party leaders.
(*) - so you say you are not a nat - fair enough if that is really the case - but you are certainly spouting their deluded nonsense.
The Vow was designed to promised enhanced devolution to increase the ability of the Scottish Parliament to arrange affairs in Scotland as well as maintaining the Union. It was not a promise to devolve all fiscal income to Scotland, nor to put Scotland completely apart from common nation-wide welfare and entitlements. Such is the stuff of a Union.Union, not Disunion

The Vow was designed to ensure a No vote and worry about it later. End of.It all seems so stupid it makes me want to give up.
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid ?0 -
Devo Max always has and always will mean full autonomy apart from sharing foreign offices and defence .... There are many claiming it isn't such and are describing a devo mini or devo dilute and to continually pretend that this was not the game changer is to remain in your diluded state of being ...
At the end of the day whether you want it or not and even whether I want it or not Scotland will become independent its a case of when not if .... Evel will help to bring and end to the union as well .... Buckle up cause its gonna be fun to watch, I keep my popcorn warm and enjoy watching them tear each other and themselves apart0 -

But then we all know that all faithful SNP Party members will find all sorts of very silly excuses and misrepresentations to complain about the implementation of the result of the Scottish Referendum and derail the process.
I asked once for one thing that was not being done as per the Vow; as usual there was no answer, just "squirrelling" away from that one too.Union, not Disunion

Devo-max of that description was not part of the vow; to pretend it was is, as you put it, "diluded".
As for the rest - you would find that fun! - but maybe such a scenario would indeed appeal to anarchists. Are you an anarchist?Union, not Disunion

Devo Max or as near to federalism was the terminology used
I'm pretty sure it won't take you long to find the evidence to back it up0
