2 wrongs don't make it right. Things are bad enough without sending a crew of AS puppets down there to join them.

It might make for good viewing with popcorn initially, but think it will soon get even more tedious than usual.

But if it's the voters choice so be it. We reap what we sow.

We all know (I hope) that the politicians who we delegate power to are rarely up to the job.

Maybe by sending a few publicly-educated rather than privately-educated candidates we'll get some honestly more representative delegates into the Palace of Westminster than they're used to.;)

Actually I've thoroughly engaged you on this topic and suffered your lies and half truths.

I challenge you, as I have before, to think of a single set of outcomes that could lead to a negative outcome for the SNP. I've posted several in the past, for example fiscal autonomy leading the Scots to see how important it is to Scottish Government spending to have a diversified economy attached to it in the form of the UK.

Full independence would necessarily lead to concentration of tradeable output into the oil and gas sector due to the Dutch Disease.
I believe a negative outcome for the SNP will happen when we get independence, there are many many people declaring they will vote SNP till then but once were free the gloves are off, which does bring up the point ... What can the SNP do to stop independence?

I don't think that's class driven hatred ( well at least I hope not) I think ( hope) its more of a recognition that there isn't equal representation in WM , I personally would like to see more females, more disabled and more ethnic minorities represented as well as more public schooled MP's ... A real representation of our society if you will

    The average person is average.

Only a total idiot wants a equal representation in any field of human endeavour.

And in the Uk 'public' schooling has a somewhat different meaning to 'state' schooling.

Why thanks. Why don't you counter that with your own more negative viewpoints instead of posting and running. I'd welcome it.

Go on then big guy. Let's see what you're made of ? :rotfl:

Negative outcomes for the SNP in May are :-

I await your own analysis with bated breath.... ;-)

The fact that 100% of people could vote for the SNP and it would still be a glorified town council with no real power, at a guess.

Interestingly, the SNP has a higher proportion of privately-educated MSPs at Holyrood than Labour has at both Holyrood and Westminster (15% versus 13% and 12% respectively).

Can it really be true that 15% of SNP MSPs were privately educated compared to only 4% of the Scottish voters?

And both are below the average (17%) for MSPs in general, and that's half of the Westminster %.

It is inevitable, it's a case of when not if... I know that may sound hard to I believe and I understand that maybe a lot of people don't agree or understand why statements like that are made, and tbh after September 19th I didn't believe it myself .... But living here and talking to people etc ( no voters included) there is a belief it's a case of when not if, it's now in the psyche of the majority of Scot's ....

Maybe it's one of those things that you have to be in to see, but the change in people here is something I certainly didn't expect to see after the result
