Ooooh, I use to do mystery shopping a few years back. I mostly got boring post offices and banks, but the odd free meal or £20 of shopping if doing a supermarket was always a bonus
Yes, I am in wind-down mode I think. I have had a hectic and stressful few weeks ....helping my son sort out a new college course, having a biopsy (now that wasnt fun!!), the funeral, a court case (nothing serious, and I won)...and it has all taken its toll. So now I am opting out of life for a few days But thats okay. I work part time from home so pick my own hours, my son is 18 and self sufficient (as much as any man is anyway ) and there is nothing urgent on my 'To do' list.

Anyway...enough of my waffle...how is everybody?

I have been attempting to find space for about 400 books in my bedroom as I am going to take the plunge and try and get the living room stripped because it needs plastering and as you strip the paper the plaster comes off. Not such a lovely job which is why it`s still green and lilac (previous tenants :eek: ) So, trying to stay off the computer and tidy one room to accomadate stuff from another :cool: Hope everyone is hunky dorey and enjoying the sunshine

So all moved now, aint got the net at home so am having to go online at my bro's and my cousins.... i have made a few finacall ammends in the last week too which was a nice place to be in. and am off out for dinner today with some old friends. hope all is ok

Here am I in sunny Lisbon. I am with my daughter who lives here. Wednesday we are all off to Algarve and I shall get my house Friday (God willing). It's nice to move without running away. My alcoholism meant that I was always looking over my shoulder and that the grass was always greener.... It is good to live like a human being. I nearly said a "normal" human being but, as I have never met one, I haven't a clue as to what one is. Thanks for all your good wishes. Somebody mentioned being cold. Would anybody like to remind me what that means? :D

sounds good brodev, im finding it strange in a new house... ive just been keeping on the go... always doing something. sometimes i find change difficult.

Some one drove into my car and didnt tell me outside the new house and also someones nicked my recycling boxes..... and i thought i was moving to a nicer area Lol. nevermind its only plastic and no one was in the car so i cant really grumble there are far worse things that could happen.

im going to blackpool on wends.... just brought a new sat nav to get me there only for a few days. then off to a one year cocaince anonymous confention in luton on sat.
