Back on board this week - it all went haywire last week although I did manage to do a bit each day so it wasn't too bad.

Manic Monday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE]

    Level Two
    Clean floors
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table (clean table cloth if necessary)
    [/STRIKE]
    Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining room, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe window sills, clean any marks off windows if required
Wash the washer drawer out if it's gunky
    Extra Mission:
    Choose one or more of:
    • Clean inside of fridge
    • Clean outside of small appliances, even if it's only one you get done
    • Clean OVEN yes I know you all hate that one :p wonder how many choose it
    • [STRIKE]Sort any one kitchen/dining room storage area, drawer, cupboard or a shelf [/STRIKE] I've cleared off and polished the chest where the fish tank is, it tends to get pretty messy cos Mark dumps all of his change and receipts there  I dusted the fish tank but I'm not cleaning it - that's Mark's job!!
    Also:
    • [STRIKE]Wash bedlinen for three boys[/STRIKE]
    • Make beds
    • [STRIKE]Clean dishwasher[/STRIKE]
Off to the office in a minute - the rest will have to wait til we get back in this afternoon. It looks like it might be a nice day (touch wood!) so will hopefully get chance to take the boys out this afternoon as well! :T

    Back again

Wiped down all worktops, fronts of cupboards, dining room (Kitchen diner) table. DH has done inside windows because I can't reach, the outsides were done last Friday. He's off to work soon so I'll vacuum then. Oh, and I've wiped the toaster, kettle and microwave.

Also, dusted living room and computer desk and I'll vacuum through there too.

Then I'm going to sit outside and read Harry Potter until the dear little souls/little ****s next door get up and make it impossible to concentrate.

    Happy sunny Monday morning!

Didn't get everything done last week, but it is the summer hols and DS needs me too so I'm not going to beat myself up about the stuff that didn't get done. It's all here again this week!

Welcome to newbies and all those returning, hope you have a good week.

Shirley- good luck for when you get to see the bank, fingers crossed for you.

DH is off later on a trip to London. He's seeing a couple of bands play and staying over.
Plans for today including the kitchen and dining room are

    Make a picnic for lunch
Buy a new iron- mine just died
Blackberry picking this morning and then park with DS
Reading with DS to help him with his Reading Challenge
Take some glass to the recycling bin on the way to the shop
...it is not of more importance than daily life, which I have an enduring wish to make as useful and beautiful as possible.

Morning all... just a quick post so I can find the thread later :rotfl:

I'm currently up to my ears in laundry and Christmas videos. We're having a Christmas day today where DD gets to sit in her nightie and watch nothing but Christmas movies until OH gets in...keeps her occupied and means I can do the ironing without worrying about her getting bored and wandering around the livingroom as they go away with the decorations and only come out during the summer hols (and when the decs come out of course!) so it's the whole "I haven't seen this for ages so I'm going to sit and watch it without moving" situation :D I won't start the ironing though until Muppets come on, she's currently watching "Rudolph"

Just dailies & laundry today, although I am already on load 3 since we got back yesterday, and another 3 to go  Might stretch to do a kitchen clean but we'll see ;) Need to go and hang this washing out so I'll catch up at lunch time

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
