*little bit sweaty and flushed*
HA!!!! it thought it had me beat, but no, tantrums and swearing beat it!
What? oh, my oven. I cleaned it. The cleaning went well, it wasn't too bad and stardrops just powered through it oh yes.
And being all smug that my oven door comes right off to make cleaning easier left me feeling smug, a little too smug. So when it came time to get it back on what happens? 20 bloody minuets of fiddling, grunting and swearing at the bloody hinges that kept snapping back just before they were in place! AAARRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
But I got it, the little !!!!!!, I got it! hahahahahahaha!0 -
Am back again. Want to give the kitchen a really good scrub tomorrow, may even get the windows done inside and out as its meant to be dry (shhh, think its a secret - lol).
Busy day at work today was popping off all over the place and had loads of mail outs to do.
Was very good before work and did the marinate for the ribs, make victoria sponge with fresh cream for after tea. Came home from work and cooked HM chinese (curry, sweet & sour chicken, E F Rice, Ribs) was very yummy - think the in-laws enjoyed it to.
Got a plan with the girls too, we are gonna make 2 pots up 1 for sunny days with activities they like to do and another for rainy days. Hopefully this should mean no more screaming fits like last week (and that was just me!!).
DH has a case of man flu today so went to bed after tea. I think he was avoiding his Nan myself. They had words she said something like I wish I hadnt come (she had back ache) DH said I wish you hadnt either. Not an overly nice thing for him to say but she can suck the life out of a room now, once she was the life and soul. She seems to have to compete with the girls for Mum-in-laws attention, as soon as the girls want Nanny to play something, she will suddenly need to go to the loo or need her tablets or any other thing she can think of. Has made me dread the thought of Christmas this year though (last year we went to my parents over in Spain).
Sorry started to ramble, think I need to go to bed!0 -
tiamai you cheat that's tomorrows list, sheesh! :rotfl: getting a head start! No fair **stamps feet** (well done by the way I'm just jealous that you have the energy this late to do it
I'm shattered)
Well tomorrow we need to collect the chairs from behind a church, sounds rather strange, just so happens I've been told it's also market day in the same place so might have to have a lookother than that the day is pretty much mine so will declare war on the kitchen!!! Might make a start in the boys rooms moving stuff aswell.
One of the dogs tummies (can't figure which one) is making horrid noises. Hopefully won't get up to a mess (ewww) again but staying up later and letting them out later, might get up through the night just incase aswell. Just put their drops in as Luke's hayfever eyes has turned into conjunctivitis and he's given it to Megan, argh! One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all. I am now relaxing in a nice clean and tidy lounge. After 2 weeks of striping paper and sealing plaster with uPVA glue it is now almost finished and everything cleaned up. I just have the last bit above the fireplace to do. I ran out of glue and had had enough so decided to call it a day and clean up.
I'm about 95% sure I'm going to buy the ex out. I love this house, I've spent the past 2 1/2 years making it what I want, I really don't want to move. I have some time off work the week after next, so I'm going to go talk to the bank and see what my options are with the mortgage.

Lil Me, trust me, if I left it till tomorrow, nothing would get done! DS2 is in a clumsy/stuff/clingy phase, so he is waking at night stiff, then clumsy and grouchy and clingy during the day, so I learned a while ago to just do the basic during the day and the big stuff at night. That way the day feels less like a struggle and more like relaxing... well, almost.
tomorrow, I must
wash car
get some school bits
do ironing
wash a few loads and get them dry.
apply for a disabled badge0 -

tiamai_d aww bless him, remember the stage well, trust me most of my stuffs done at night or if they are busy with Dad/school etc, I find it hard when they are home especially with DS2s dislike to smells, noises etc.
Ginger Girl & ladywood welcome, and Feisty_Fairy of course, nice to have you all with us.
Been told we're off to the beach tomorrow with the dogs (because DP wants to go to a model shop near the beach) after we bring the chairs back (need to find somewhere to store them until a week on Tuesday
oh heck!) so need to declare war early to be able to clear it into submission before 10.30am, scared now.

Afternoon all, especially our new flyers
After a manic start to the day, got DS4 to school on time to catch the bus to camp. He's away for the week so things will be quiet, that's for sure.
Here's my take on Mondays list:
Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Clean floors
Clean cupboard door fronts and the front of appliances
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front
Clean inside of fridge
WIPE inside of oven
[strike]Weekly menu
Grocery list
[/strike]Buy groceries
Work
Put one load of laundry on tonight and hang up inside if I have too (raining atm)
Pay bills that were meant to be paid last week . . .
