Morning all! Had a fab day out yesterday at the Historic Dockyard down in Portsmouth - we're all pretty tired today though, we were up at 5.30am yesterday and didn't get home til 9pm!

I've got some catching up to do today - I've just loaded up the dishwasher and washing machine, and will be heading off to the tip with some rubbish in a minute, then to the office for the morning. Then I've told the boys if I can get some housework done, I'll take them out for an hour at the adventure playground (if they're still up for it then!!)

Have a good day all - the weather's gorgeous again here, so I hope you all get to take advantage of it as well!

Morning all, sorry I just realised Friday's list didn't work :o I have just edited again, sure many of the regulars will know the routine pretty much by now but a bigger apology to the newbies who don't.

My Dyson has life again with no burning etc, the guy as great, he's even fixed the bit I broke, replaced the lifetime filter incase I don't find the receipt so that is done, motor and cable replaced (cable I think we caught under door yesterday and had slightly cut plastic and the motor was probably damaged off sand but we are at the beach a lot and kids have a sand pit in garden), ordered me a new can thing as mines got a little crack on the handle and said if it does need fixing out of warranty it's only a fixed cost of £55 whatever needs doing, so looks like I will have this one for a long time yet if that is the case. Here was me who nearly just flung it. Oh and boy does it suck :rotfl: have to be careful with it or I'll loose rugs/carpets etc.

Serena hope your DS has a great birthday :)

**Scratches** LJD1 isn't it awful that as soon as you think of them, or someone mentions them you start getting itchy!!!

Pigpen, nice to see you've got your bounce back, you can join my son who's bouncing like tigger in the corner at the mo, he's just had a traumatic time of course, he hates the vacuum cleaner and strangers coming into the house so this morning was his idea of a complete hell, a stranger who used the vacuum cleaner!!!

DP off out taking his dearest mother (said with nasty tone) somewhere when he gets up so won't see him for the rest of the day as no doubt she'll drag him out shopping etc then he'll be going to work.

Cupboard still needs some work filling with what I want in there so will do that then do an hour sorting through toys in the boys room as they've only just had clean sheets on last night and dusting etc was done when I was in there on Wednesday, need to start filling the new rack with their books aswell. About 3 loads of laundry left then I'll be all caught up :D so that'd be on the list for today, I haven't even done one, just can't be bothered :o
One day I might be more organised...........

Morning. I'm shattered again today. Had some very vivid dreams last night that kept waking me up. I know the reason but I'm still going to sit down with my dream dictionary (which someone gave me :money: ) and have a looksee at what that says - pretty convinced that shooting someone with a pistol while in a wedding dress is not a good sign though :o:rotfl: Maybe thats just because of all the "My b*oody DH/OH" posts I was reading on here last night before bed  Oh well:D

My plan for today is to finish my coffee, have a bath & put some clean clothes on, get DD washed/fed/dressed and out the house before midday to Asda as OH is moaning about there being no coffee-whitener in work ( There's a co-op over the road from where he works, and he's been to Tescos as well this week  ) and he's "sick of ham" for his sandwiches. Then I should really get the washing done and do some cleaning before the weekend :o Best get on!!!

    Quick update:-

    Kids Room

Beds stripped, aired, hoovered and remade DONE
    Room hoover & dusted DONE
    Bin emptied DONE
Old comics recycled (waste of money but MIL insists on wasting her money) DONE
Bedding washed and pegged out DONE

    Kitchen S & S DONE
    Lounge S & S DONE
    Hoovered through DONE

    Need to do:-

Mop kitchen, hall & bathroom floors
    Bath littles & wash hair
Trip to puppet theatre at bandstand with littles
    Make fresh cream victoria sponge
    Prep veggies for tea
    Cook roast
    Post DVDs back

DD1 is driving me crackers at the moment, she keeps going off on one. Answering back in a nearly nasty and cheeky way. DD2 is being a superstar so whilst I dont think DD1 deserves to go to the puppet show it would not be fair on DD2.

Still feeling extremely peed off and not sure why - which I hate. But I did force myself to crack on this morning.

    Catch you later

Having an interesting day so far. Charlie had me awake from 5:30 because he kept crying but every time i stirred enough to go in he was asleep. Got up about 8 in the end exhausted cos i had also struggled getting to sleep.

Then i ended up wearing my breakfast as he made a grab for the spoon and he flipped most of the bowl over me - luckily he still had a bib on as i made quick use of it to mopmyself up a bit. I think that is the end to breakfast on my knee. Unless i want to pretend i am cleopatra and have regular milk baths.

I have done a bit of flying.
    • last nights dishes were put away
    • my bed stripped, and bedding has been washed
    • charlie has been well entertained and is now down for hopefully a long nap
    • post has been dealt with
    • got chilli out of the freezer for tea
list for rest of day, which i will probably add more to as i think of:
    • [strike]hang washing on line[/strike]
    • remake our bed
    • strip cot, wash bedding and remake
    • [strike]clean fridge ready for internet delivery of food tonight as it will be a hectic weekend[/strike]
    • [strike]bring bin in[/strike]
    • [strike]put other bags of garden rubbish from under my front window straight into bin[/strike]
    • [strike]empty kitchen[/strike] [strike]and bathroom bins[/strike]
    • [strike]change cat litter tray[/strike]
    • [strike]wash a load of charlie's lights[/strike], [STRIKE]and another of his darks[/STRIKE]
    • try to pack another box of too small clothes away ready for DH to put some in the loft either tonight or tomorrow
    • hoover living room/dining room and kitchen again
    • wipe dining table
    • [strike]wash up all of the glass mats[/strike]
    • [strike]sterilise and make up bottles[/strike]
    • hoover porch, hall, stairs and landing
    • hoover bathroom, charlie's room and our room
    • [strike]dust the rest of living room and dining room that i didn't complete earlier in the week[/strike]
    • quick clean of bathroom sink and loo
    • accept delivery of food shopping between 7-9 tonight
    • put all food shop away
    • make up some pancake batter for dinner (chilli pancakes)
    • [strike]transmit shop and scan stuff[/strike]
    • [strike]check internet banking - expecting to be paid soon for my SAT marking[/strike]
    • [strike]clean cat feeding mat[/strike]
    • put compost out
    • put recycling out
    • change water in my flowers
    extras:
    • cleaned kitchen sink, and drainer
    • ordered £20 of debenhams vouchers from shopandscan (for new work stuff for me)
    • accepted delivery of a couple of months worth of cat food - think DH can move that from the hall to the garage when he gets in as it is pretty heavy.
    • accepted delivery of DH's birthday pressie, which is now hidden - birthday not until 8th of September so how organised am i?
    • played drawing with Charlie for the 1st time - now he's covered in blue washable felt tip - didn't really get the idea and spent most of the time eating the pen
this is all to prepare for visitors tomorrow, and then hopefully me and DH can do something nice together on Sunday. I won't be killing myself though. told DH he will have to be in early so he can help me do some of this.

will have to make a start then as i will get at least an hour but hopefully 2 of Charlie being asleep, and i have already wasted about 20 mins of it on here as it is the only chance i get. ;)

    See you all later girls

    morning all,
i have made it out of the kids' room alive JUST lol.
actually they made a pretty good job of cleaning them out yesterday so we just went through their junk and clothes. Why one 18 year old boy needs 31 pairs of boxer shorts is beyond me but apartently you need work pants and going out pants!!!!!!! i ask you they are worse than girls.
never mind my entire house is gleaming and all my windows are sparkling, cupboards and drawers tidy must be a first for me as i have never really gotten into the whole household management stuff!!!
anyways must keep up with the small tidy ups inbetween the weekly clean it really makes a big difference.
good luck folks and have a great weekend
