    Evening all,

Pigpen what you need is a :grouphug: .

I am sure I am one of many on here who think you are an amazing woman - dont let him get you down.

Men can be right 4rseoles including mine. Sometimes he can be really hurtful, other times treats me like I'm stupid, he can make me cry, he can also make me laugh, he can also be sweet and understanding, but when he wants something or has lost something just watch him creep - thats when we play payback time. Its like the advert for the Toyota Yaris, thats when we can make our revenge sweet :D

And an example of how useless men can be - for 10 and a half years he has been asking me to marry him. I couldnt be done with the hassle of organising it after the first one, but finally I give in and told him to arrange it all for when we are on holiday (wanted a beach wedding) as its the one and only time my family are likely to be together, so what does he do - NOTHING and why because he'd have to find his decree from previous marriage and hasnt a clue where it is. MEN !

I feel sick now - have eaten too many scones. Serves me right
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

LOL at SolwayKid, I promise I won't try and finish the list. I'll be lucky if I finish it in my lifetime :rotfl:
Think tomorrow I will try and dust and decobweb and declutter the baby's room, maybe even hoover it. Then if I moan enough at hubby he might get the cot down from the loft and build it for me at the weekend.

Tomorrow I am out in the morning (kids going to creche at gym while I sit in cafe for an hour and a half for a rest:j ) so will do something with them in the afternoon for a bit and then see if I can get some bits done.

Dyson man supposed to be coming tomorrow (all day appointment - dont you hate those ?) to check out machine, I really hope its the afternoon, I dont want to give up my rest in the cafe LOL

right must get to bed, night night
    Jillxx

ps I finally gave in today and bought something for baby's arrival - a massive double pack of maternity pads :rotfl: - but I know it will last only about the first 4 days LOL Must buy some nappies and try and get a hopsital bag sorted
Maybe I should be adding these things to the list LOL

The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair
  • After a nice long chat on the phone with my mum last night, I had a quite fly around the bathroom and my study. So they are now done :) The plaster is coming tomorrow and that room still has a whole load of junk in it, so I think I'll be clearing that out tonight. Can't wait for it to be done though, as then we can start moving stuff into there so the rest of the house can be done.

    Check fire alarms are working
Remove bed linen and replace with frsh linen
Vacuum mattress before replacing with fresh linen

    Morning all

Not much done yet, it's too early but DD put the computer on and it's like a magnet ;)

One load of washing done and on the line, it's sunny this morning.

Living room tidied round and two throws went in the wash too. I'll do the rest tomorrow. I'll vacuum a bit later.
  • Good morning everyone,

I hope all your DHs are behaving themselves today (or if not you nicked all the duvet last night to make them suffer;) !)

Not a lot to report from here. My main tasks for the day are:

Finish the fruit for the Rumtopf - it's just so fiddly, but worth it come Christmas time!
Attack the grouting on the second half of the bathroom tiles,
Make courgette and tuna tarts using Pink Gingham's yummy recipe
Dash the hoover round the hall, living room and dining room to remove errant cat's fur.

Hope everyone has a good day and has plans for a fun weekend,

Morning, my head itches, now i've got visions of all of you scratching your heads. My friends little girl has nits and now i've been scratching since I found out, lol. I've checked all of us and found nothing but still itch. Mmmm, wonder if it's sunburn!

Anyway, back to flying! Today i'm just going to go round and have a general tidy. Hugs to all xx

    Hi everyone,

lovely sunny morning here. I didn't do any flying yesterday, as we went to see my parents, then from there to my sister's, and then my brother came over and insisted we visited his new house! Not too far to go, as he's only five minutes away from my sister's. It's his very first home, needs some TLC, but he is so proud of it! He wanted me to tell him all the plants in the garden, and give him some ideas on redesigning it. I think next time I go, I'll take my gardening boots and spade! :D

Today I'll be doing the second coat of paint on the hall, stairs and landing, which will take four hours - yes, I'm the sad kind of person who times how long it takes to do things!

I also need to pop downtown, as it is DS1's 17th birthday tomorrow, and I haven't yet bought him a card. The shopping was easy, as he is building his own computer, so he just completed an order form of the bits he wanted (most of which I've never heard of, and have no idea what they do...) and just asked me to add my debit card number! I'll be getting a few little bits as well, a book, choccies... He wants to have a meal out as well tomorrow, at a Thai restaurant, so that will be different. Last year we were on holiday in Normandy for his birthday, and we had a fabulous meal out, which was amazingly good value - doubt if tomorrow's will be that good.

I do hope that everyone who is feeling down, feels a little bit better today. Think of a treat for yourselves - because you are worth it!
