Jinny - thanks for posting the Minimalists website. Just had a quick look & pleased to repost that I do make my bed every day (as I can't stand the sight of an unmade one!) No TV in the bedroom ('cos when I did I just fell asleep during a programme!) but I do like the idea of a donation basket - I have just the thing ;) which chimes well with having an exit strategy for kondo'd items.

I can't take credit for posting the minimilist website I had just put another link into my post to save peeps having to look thro posts
I bought their book years ago. Loved it but done nothing about the clutter.
The only book to make a big difference to me is the Marie Kondo one.
We have often said on here that the book is hypnotic I'm sure of it ;)

PS: thanks for keeping me entertained while I get some housework done
I have a guest at the weekend so busy cleaning ad getting the place ready
Plus cooking up some nice food for the freezer.
I'm taking little breaks between bursts of energy

    Well done VJsmum
Love the quote, saw a similar one this morning -a Swedish proverb
"He who buys what he does not need steals from himself"

Just had a text my best friend is popping round tomorrow, haven't seen her since we were in on holiday in August, so brill woo news. I've got a couple of bits she wants to kondo onto her and will get Christmas cards sorted out tonight. Can't wait.

Happy Bonnies night to anyone who's celebrating, several £100s have gone up in smoke round here by the sound of the noise on the estate, the lads arent fussed so we not bothering. We've gone to a local display in the past but I'll be happy to stay in the warm and knit.
