I managed to Kondo all our medication and some gardening too. We even managed to use some things from the cupboard for our evening meal rather than go to the shops because we have to go out tomorrow to yet another doctor appointment.0

7. Shadow by Michael morpurgo paperback gave me joy but now I've read it teacher at school can have it for her class.
8. Rather unflattering so unjoyful headscarf I rarely wear - clothes bank.SPC~12 ot 124

Morning all.
Feeling slightly perkier today, as if the cold is over its worst. It's amazing how a day with a cold feel the equivalent of three days without one, isn't it?:rotfl:
minsgame update.
8 th October - 8 wee plastic 35 mm film canisters.
Had a call from Mum last night about Old Faithful, her four-wheeled shopping trolley, which suffered a fatal collapse only a few yards from home yesterday. It's got to be 25+ years old, and has been used several times a week in all that time. She knew it was on its way out, it'd been taken by car to the Big Market Town, as it is every week, where it would have trollied a good couple of miles inc over the cobbles. And the plucky little thing nearly made it to its own door before dying.Ahem. I feel quite overcome (am a daft beggar sometimes) and have been tasked with researching and sourcing its replacement up t'city, which I will commence after work. Any personal recommendations for a strong four wheeled shopping trolley, ideally one of those with the buggy-style double rotating front wheels? Apparently a brand called Sh0lley isn't good enough.
Haven't yet decided which of the many small random items I have discarded and listed will be tomorrow's minsgame candidates, but it will be all different ones and rather peculiar reading.
Have a good day, folks, and no overdoing it. GQ xEvery increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Joyful sight just met me through the kitchen window, the small pile of scrap metal that has been slowly growing over the past 3 weeks has disappeared off the top of our drive. Not sure if it was a scrap collector or if DH finally had enough of it and it went in the metal skip at his works.SPC~12 ot 124

I have a lump of concrete on my lottie which I inherited from an earlier incumbent and which, unlike a lot of the other carp, can't be moved by me in wheelbarrow or bike basket, to the tip. Just too big and heavy. I have asked that the parents let me take it in their car, when they visit at some point this autumn, and seeing the back of it will be happy indeed.Every increased possession loads us with a new weariness.

Morning all
springdreams Thank you for that linkI will give this a go later so GQ can get her wish of seeing the Cabbage
iTwin I know the value is not important and a lot of the joyful items I love cost nothing or next to nothing,
Dad needs repairs on his roofSo he wanted to sell some of it to pay for roof repairs.I didnt want him to sell as it still brings him enjoyment. So I was glad the value had gone down so he wouldnt be tempted to sell. We will just have to help him out with the cost if he falls short
I am not keen on Moorcroft but would miss it if it went and I am sure so would he.
Greenbee thanks for the link for Harry's work. When I was looking for a work like mine all I could find was the wooden carvings of people. The first one I saw was someone with a knife stuck in thier head  Not my cup of tea really
Dont think my Cabbage is for everyone :rotfl:But hopefully I will try later to put the pics on so you can make up your own minds
Will be back later with mins game results for the day.

Hi everyone,
We are all going to have empty houses by the end of October!!
Day 8 for me:
1-7. Dish towels, all gifts and not the kind I like. Was reluctant to get rid because they were presents, but have been unused for over a year, in fact, 2 of them moved house with us nearly two years ago. What a lot of nonsense to keep them so long!
8. A white vest top I was keeping for unknown reasons...
The rain has finally stopped here so going to get out for a long walk later.
Have a good day all xxAll you need is less0 -
Wow Mavvy! The mind boggles,I am very intrigued by your devil!
Just had to Google the artist and saw the wooden one with knife in head, there was one that looked like a devil with flames coming out of its mouth called the singing flame! Looked like it was barfing
He is a a wonderful sculptor though maybe not all what I would chooseFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
