The slow and steady, little and often kondoing continues..............2 Bag FL full to the CS and another £5 M&S voucher for my efforts
Thee was sign by the the till asking fro volunteers for till duties...........now in a few years time I plan to start a phased retirement and this sort of thing would appeal to me then!!

Hello again.
Did someone mention the dreaded kitchen corner cupboard? It is useful for things used once a year or rarely, e.g. Christmas decorations. Admittedly, the tree might be a but problematic.
Or kondoed long-term paperwork, e.g. wills, title deeds, insurance docs. The Gubbins you have to keep, but don't need to be referred to on a regular basis.
Or hiding OH's prezzies. Is he going to clean the kitchen cupboard? Heck as like ;-)

After helping a friend kondo a drawer, get rid of lots of komono including at least a dozen little pots for face cream etc (she also had 5 pairs of nail clippers, all in that drawer together, I got it down to 3
) still more work to do
I was delighted to be asked to help her pack for a week away.
I happily folded tops a la MK, rolled knickers, folded trousers. All fitted neatly and I am sure will travel well. I was joyful :j
until she said........, 'I rescued some of the little pots we discarded last week, we can wash them out, they may be useful jic'
On a positive note though, DH has agreed we can set free an old standard lamp. I have disliked it pretty much since we bought it, but it cost good money so I've put up with it.... until now! Anyway I have spotted a much more joyful replacement and put that on my birthday listDH has tried offering unloved item to family but they're not daft and have said no thanks ! Am a bit concerned about how i will actually prise it out of the door unless we find a taker and most CS round by me don't take electrical goods, but I'll cross that bridge when i come to it ( or dynamite it, as GQ would say!!).
Enjoy tomorrow everyone.
MI have changed my work-life balance to a life-work balance.0 -
9 items out, a la Mins game
A couple of instruction booklets for.... Something (cameras I think)
A blank note book (we have zillions)
A random bit of plastic
A vinyl LP record
A years old lip balm
And can't even remember the rest.
As I've been away today (DD and I went to Hamlet last night) it's nice to be able to do at least something on it today
I have also sorted out 35 items to wear for the next three months a la Project 333 (I know) and have come to the conclusion that I don't really like very much of my knitwear
Anyone come across the blog "the Vivienne files"? You will kondo many hours there,.... (it's mainly fashion)I wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
Morning all
Sorry not had time to pop in for a while, hope everyone is well
DD3 has a load of stuff stored here that she has finally got round to belaying, 3 things left yesterday and another 4 are due for collection this week, I've got a Cs run planned for the weekend so getting some stuff together for that, big stack of jigsaws that I know are always popular so some space will clear here.
I got a phone all yesterday asking if I had a baby shawl in my made stash, luckily yes so that's gone to a new home.
I've been using all my spare time on a Christmas cross stitch i think I've rather overstretched on the promises I've made with my time and crafting skills so got my work cut out to fulfil them all.
Have a joyful day allSPC~12 ot 124

Morning Konverts.
Thanks for that link Maryb.I knew they were not cheapBut not that expensive:eek: They are really nice well made jeans but should be a that price;)
Had a bit of a clothes move round yesterday so everything is looking more tidy and ordered :rotfl:A few more bits gone but not much left to go now which is a very joyful thing.
Got a man coming today to chainsaw all our oak up which we got free last year. It would take me and DH days and days to cut this so we decided to get a quote from a tree man to cut it to save us so much work. He reckons 2-3 hours work and £40 so a bit of a no brainer really :rotfl:I thought it would cost at least £100 so very happy with that.
Like my iTwin I have had so many appointments lately with loads more over the next week or so. They are like buses and all come at once.So looking forward to getting all them out of the way. Glad you are getting somewhere with your problem iTwin and hopefully will be sorted out very soon.
I am going to start cleaning my window frames of the what I thought was fly carp and then I read on here spider poo. What are those horrible Brown spots that smudge when you wipe them off ? Is it to do with Flies or Spiders its got to be flies surely :rotfl:Anyway what ever they are I need to remove them as I hate them
Got to go and re-hang my Dads curtains at some point today as he has had a washing frenzyBut he cant re-hang them.
My life sounds so exciting :rotfl::rotfl:

Those brown spots are definitely from flies not spiders Mavy - nasty dirty little creatures whereas spiders just spin webs - eat nasties and are the good guys ( although they're nearly all ladies!) so when they appear where you don't want them just thank them and put them outside. If you are really spiderphobic start collecting Conker's to place round rooms - it really does work.Small victories - sometimes they are all you can hope for but sometimes they are all you need - be kinder than necessary, for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle0

Morning everyone
Not sure what to do today now that the study is done (apart from OH's clothes that are in there). I was going to go for a browse around the CS' but I'm not really a fan of shopping alone! Think I might bake a cake and then get started on organising my shoes and jumpers0 -
Morning All!
I'm all set for a kondo marathon today - nothing to interrupt me!
I'm hoping to make big in-roads into the spare bedroom, which has become a dumping ground, since kondoing started, and it would be joyful to get the landing clear, which is now driving me up the wall. I need to catch up on laundry, too. If I get time, I shall clear the dining table (yet again and not a major task, I think), ready for when I make Grandbump2 a smocked dress. Later, (after kondoing!), I shall try to sort out my bl00dy printer. Till then, the the computer is going OFF!
So, I shall be making the most of a nice sunny day! Have a good day, Konverts. :dance:Needs, NOT wants!
No food waste since November 2010. :j

Haha Mavvymoo! The reason I call it spider poo is cos it usually seems to be under the webs and hide holes of the spiders:eek:
Could be the flies caught in Web and panicking:D:D:D
I try to keep spiders as flies are nasty, and my grandma always said don't get rid of spiders cos they eat the nasty flies:jFocus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0
