Yesterday I took DD & DS to see my Oma, so their Great Grandmother
, she spoilt them with new clothes and me with homemade HerringSalat. I'm now sitting on the sofa scoffing (kondoing!) it straight from the washed out coffee jar that she sent me home with yum!!!

Are you Dutch Icey77 ? My kids have an Oma and Opa
Lurks back down ......
It'll be interesting to know. My nephew (by marriage) calls his grandma Oma too and she's German.
No kondoing today unless you count a set of very unjoyful, prickly pegs. They came 'free' with a new washing line and I've always hated them. Yesterday I bought a new set of 'padded' ones.:)
I'm with you about buying high end stuff from the CS mav, they give me great joy. Yesterday I got a Boden silk shirt and a White Stuff linen top from the Cancer shop for £1 each in their sale.:)
supersaver, I keep 'rarely used' stuff in my corner cupboard which probably translates as 'don't need it anyway'. I have a cull every now and again....0 -
Okay back after a fortnight away (went up to my parents, my Mum passed away the day after we arrived, I was sat with her), funeral was this last Wednesday BUT the weekend before (with my Dad's permission), myself and a friend of my Mum's went through all her clothes and either binned them or bagged them up to go to the Church (they have a "sister" church in a poorer area so decent stuff went there to be passed on), loads of the stuff still had labels on and they were good names.
I now have very few clothes and wear them all, what I need to do is wear make up on a regular basis! (hmm and I like the idea of being a 1940's housewife!)
Okay need to start here again tomorrow (possibly with the paperwork, I am the executor of my Mum's estate along with the Solicitor and having gone through all her paperwork I/we want to make things a LOT easier here!)Must use my stash up!0 -

Not much kondoing done this weekend. After having gone through my make up the week before and throw away 50% I decided to wear the eye shadows that I haven't worn for ages. Out of the 2 I wore 1 has been binned. I have another 3 eye shadows to try this week.
A sun lotion bought last year has finally been used up a hand cream.
OH and I continue to eat up food from our freezer inventory list .
Grrr,OH has found another 2 boxes of DVD's to sort through. I thought that task was completed last weekend. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23
