Blimey, go away for a few hours and there are always lots of new posts to come back to.. so inspiring!
greent - I hadn't thought of phone boxes, we have a few and they'll be perfect for the yet to be sorted stationery!
Greyqueen - I have yet to attempt the airing cupboard, it's not large but is stuffed full!
Regarding freezers, I have seven drawers and tend to store by category where possible.. Frozen fruits for smoothies at the top, then fish, chicken, meats, leftovers, veg/potatoes, ice creams and puds for kids.
I've not had much more time to Kondo but I've managed to take 3 large bags of books to the BHF drop off in the village, and have 6 binbags of clothes to take to the CS itself when I have time..Unfortunately it is on double yellows so I need to go with a friend as we have over zealous traffic wardens!
In the garage there is also 4 binbags to take to the tip along with some old duvets and bits and pieces.
My bedroom is now perfect! :j
Slowly working on other aspects of the house, not strictly working to categories, rather clearing a cupboard or drawer at a time and slowly getting the categories together. I've booked to have all the carpets cleaned on the 8th so need to get a bit more sorted by then! :eek:0 -
It's been my birthday recently and rather than spending my birthday money on tat I've bought only joyful things such as trainers, a handbag and purse and chamilia beads on offer that bring me joyHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0

The dress i am wearing.... its shapeless and does nothing for me.... pity it feels so comfortable to wear but its going to have to go. It doesnt shout "joy" it shouts "frump" instead.:(This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

Many happy returns
Funnily enough, I spent my birthday and Christmas white stuff vouchers today. I took far longer and really considered everything carefully - did it bring joy, what can I wear it with, does it suit me, would I wear it "not just for best". I bought a cashmere (;) mav were you in my head? :rotfl:) navy jumper and a beautiful scarf - elegant but not frumpy. I even read the care label and, though it is a little more effort than sling it in the machine, I really am going to take great care of it.
Minging expanded shoes have gone, :TI wanna be in the room where it happens0 -
I have been reading all your wonderful posts but visitors have got in the way of posting and kondoing. Until this week end that is...OH and I kondoed the CDs and books. These two categories are OH's worst for kondoing. However he surprised me and kondoed quite a lot of his CDs and the ones left are now arranged neatly and in alphabetical order. A box is on its way to music magpie. Books were just as successful and OH even sorted out his books from the bookcases upstairs. A box is ready to go off to we buy books (just managed to get enough for the minimum £5). OH has several cook books that he wanted to keep and I suggested he move them from the kitchen cupboard to the book case which he didn't agree with. However he has just moved them:j So he is slowly konverting to KM:j
Mavvy that is such a lovely story about the man and his clothes. Enjoy wearing them. With regards to feet and shoes, when I was a teenager I was a size 2, when I had my two ds my feet went up to a 3, then when I lost weight a couple of years ago I could wear my size 2 shoes again!
Sorry for not keeping up with the posts...I promise to now I have more timesaving for ds2's summer international scout camp - £200

Thought I'd give you a few laffs by showing you the unitaskers on unclutterer.com.
You know consumerism can go too far, don't you? Here's the proof.

What's the weirdest unitasker you've uncluttered from your life?
Didnt know which one made me laugh most..Johnny Glow, the toe towel or the mascara heater:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: But I did think the USB oil burner was 'interesting'............... just for a minute:D:eek:;)Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Confession time......
I am now that woman at the till using up loose change...if something is £12.89, I'll proffer a £20 note and £2.89 in shrapnel.
Even if paying by card, I'll do the odd bits by change and the balance by card.
I only have about £80 of coppers and small silver to use up.
Hopefully the people in the queue are fellow KM-ers. (doubt it though).
Top tip - do not get behind me at the Severn Bridge tolls - well, they must like a bag of silver, surely it helps with giving change.0 -
Just been laughing out loud at the unclutter stuff thank you for posting that..SPC~12 ot 124

We are going to drinks with family at my nieces house, which is always great fun and I have decided to wear a tunic dress and tights rather than the usual jeans and nice top:A
Have a lovely weekend :beer:Focus on contribution instead of the impressiveness of consumption to see the true beauty in people.0 -
Not having much time for Kondoing but did deal with some kitchen komono, most of which was binned or re-homed. Hoping to tackle some paperwork this evening and, in the meantime, deal with RL stuff, sigh.Looking ahead0
