juliebunny, sorry to hear about your friend. Great that you are treating your friend as normal, it will mean a lot to him/her.

But I am truly loosing the will with the paperwork. I am seriously thinking of moving on to another category to get things going again, and coming back to paperwork later.

springdreams, I can only deal with paperwork if I am in the right mood, this particularly applies if it is paperwork that requires attention and focus. Perhaps it is now time to focus on something completely different until you find the will again. Good luck. :)

mavvymoo, if the bag is that lovely for you, then I personally would buy it since I know I would regret it if I didn't, unless of course the bag is very expensive.

Personally I don't like white or winter white handbags. I like handbags with different colours or different patterns. Please let us know what you decide to do.

mavvymoo, I have a white handbag and I love it, I normally wear it with chunky matching wedges, I don't use it often but it wasn't particularly expensive so I am happy to keep it tidily inside other bags until it is called upon. Let your head and heart have a conference and make the decision that is right for you. :)
  • Mavvymoo, if it brings you joy, then buy it - I can't believe, after the way you've pruned your wardrobe, that you would choose anything that wasn't going to work well with your remaining clothes. Go for it, and enjoy!

Springdreams, paperwork is very hard. Take a break, do a slightly easier category and go back to it when you've got your Kondomojo back. If you carry on when you're worn out you'll just lose the ability to make decisions.

Juliebunny, I need to sort photos too, but I've posted a while back about these plastic picture pockets, I have one on the kitchen door and it also holds theatre ticket stubs, postcards, newspaper cuttings, in fact anything you might put on a pin board. They also look quite good hung over a window if you want to obscure the view, eg the side of a conservatory.

Oh I like those photo pockets Polly, just thinking out loud, if I got rid of my fridge magnets I wonder if they do something like that as a freezer door type display thing (ie magnetic) failing that I'm loosing the love for a retro looking blackboard I bought and hung in the kitchen, I never used it because the calendar hangs over the top half because they share a hook. If I moved the calendar, put a cork board inside the cupboard door (as previously suggested on here by someone) I could then get rid of said chalkboard and put a photo display thing on my Christmas wish list.

Mils window cleaning and dysoning has been done.
Washing is now blowing in the sunshine, Dh has taken a letter to work that requires a phone call, (I deligated that one) but I've swapped him for cleaning some stuff that fell of a shelf on the drive over night in the wind. Hopefully done will be earmarked for kondoing.

Right I have not gone back to the bag as yet. It is secondhand but did retail for £600 when it was new (mad fools) I do like a bit of quality :D

Mrs MP I was joyful this morning as I thought of you in your lovely sounding outfit doing your cleaning made me smile :)

Julie I am sorry to hear about your friend but good for you keeping it normal not many people can do that.

Becky Can you tell us what you are getting stressed about ? Is it something you can change ? If not dont even think about it. Think 'Does it really matter' and I will tell you now no it doesnt ;);)

I wouldnt be wearing a matching outfit with the bag :):) All I can think of now is John Tavolta in Saturday night fever strutting his stuff on the dance floor in that club :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I would use it with jeans and maybe my most joy giving item ever my long riding boots which are Bright Red Suede ;) I am really not a matching bag and shoe type of kondoite ;)

Have got changed from my joyful outfit now Mavvy as cleaning the drive shelves up is a really mucky job, it was enough fun trying to balance on a chair and leans over the sink to reach mils then windows in a maxi dress LOL.
Found a bag of sheets towels and blankets for the animal sanctuary, a bag of rags that can go out with the recycling, I've saved a few for Dh but he didn't need that many cleaning rags. I know he washed the Landry every week wether it needs it or not but if he runs out I'll sacrifice a tea towel or two and get done joyful ones!
An old wooden bread bin that was once used to store potatoes in, why was that even on the shelves.
A load of biodegradable carrier bags that have started to biodegrade!! (Think brittle snowflakes and you get the picture!)
Some tennis balls that don't bounce, may offer to neighbours dog before binning.
A tin of paint that has never been opened. Why have I even got a tin of candy floss pink emulsion? That has been taken off a high shelf before it falls, don't think Dh would really appreciate all his training area getting splattered with pinkness

Think I'll stop getting other stuff down now as it will take me till tea Time to clear him a space

Latest spin off from Kondoeing changes in mindset...I've put in an official request for flexible working....fully expecting a rejection, as I have no children to leverage for this purpose, but I live in hope!

Very jealous of all those here who seem to have had a long summer at home sorting out loads of things....I'm finally getting my week off next week....just as the summer seems to be over....meh..very poor planning on my part.....

Am totally exhausted, drained and in need of a holibobs....luckily my lurker friend is hosting me at my seaside retreat and I'm really looking forward to it...cups of tea in bed, seeing her house in a worse state than mine after 8 weeks of having the builders in :rotfl::rotfl:
I can lecture her on the way forward, safe in the knowledge that I am completely unable to do anything with my own home for that week (hoping the catsitter can deal with the parties they will be having)....ironic that it was her who bought and lent me her 'bible' he he :o:o:o:o:o
Hopefully some mutual motivation will result from this holiday....

    Countdown.....weekend minus 2 days, yippeeeee:beer::j

Ooh and kondoed some emailing lists from shops so I won't be tempted by their sales!
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!

and very lovely she looked too :D

Yes, my special date was with our very own iQueen. She's an awful woman she really is. She made me miss one train - so I had to wait another two hours - and she made me eat cake

    :rotfl:

We have had a lovely afternoon (well I have), talked ourselves hoarse, kept a cafe in business and made a Konvert of a stranger :rotfl:

We didn't discuss how she is going to tackle that room of doom though- she kept changing the subject :naughty:

So we shall have to do it agin, otherwise it's never gonna get clear

    :p

    Thanks iQueen, it's been fab
I wanna be in the room where it happens
