    Morning all
Hugs Julie, keep going you will reach the end of the kondoing journey and be a much happier person because of it.
I can vary in mood depending on which room I'm in, upstairs a couple of the spare bedrooms are storage and the kids stuff which I can't kondo without them being onboard - I admit a few small broken or non obvious clutter like items have fallen into CS bags but in the main for it to be addressed properly and stay out the owner must make the decision for it to go.
I came down this morning and the lounge is tidy and relatively clutter free, so my eye was immediately drawn to the shelf over the TV and bearing in mind the stuff on it has been there for about 8 years (I have dusted) I knew straight away how to make it look better. That is this mornings little task, I will do it while no one else is here and see if it is noticed.

We had a night off watching bad DVDs last night so I read some of a book.

    Hope all are well

Shame we missed each other at the beer festival mavvy, we are planning to go next year so maybe we'll meet up then. You weren't on the train Saturday afternoon, near the guy who got shocked and threw his beer all over the guy opposite when the train blew it's whistle next to us were you? (I was the one giving newspaper away to soak it all up off the floor and seats)

No I wasnt mrs mp sadly it sounds like a lot of fun was had by all :D
We nearly always go as its such a good weekend and it seems to grow bigger every year. As it is just down the road it seems rude to miss it ;) So yes maybe we will cross paths sometime soon :)

Lola Well done to you sounds like you are on a Mavvy type kondo ;)

Julie You will get there I remember thinking the same everything goes though that really messy untidy stage a bit like decorating really :rotfl:Just keep going and it will all fall in to place and you will look round at some point and think wow everything looks so good and joyful and it will stay that way :)

And when people come round and say 'I never knew you were moving' ;) You know you are there :D

Talking shoes I also need a joyful pair of Ballet flats and funny was looking at the Dune ones last night in HOF. Didnt buy any as I can be between sizes so need to try really. But did buy a lovely Jumper dress for Winter in the sale for £18 just my style and colour and also a lovely Silver Grey longish oversized jumper to wear with my leggings.

I am thinking so much harder on clothes now I am spending but spending wisely and knowing what it will be worn with. Dont think I need to buy another thing now and am hoping it will be a no spend on clothes until Spring :D Dont quote me on that as if I see a fab buy in a chazzer I cant say I wont buy it ;) But do need those Black Ballet flats.

    Have a lovely day everyone

    Mav x

Forgot to say DH has got the stapler at work.I knew he must as I now know where everything is and no longer spend time searching stuff out x

Debt free and Mortgage free thank you to all for your encouragement and advice

TV shelf has been rearranged and it's made such a difference! All I've kondoed is some dried flowers, the vase has been put away with the spare vases, but I've decided there is one that can go one the next Cs run so I've not increased the amount I have, and I've moved a couple of tall candle holders that I use at Christmas onto the sideboard behind the photos.

Found a box full of those packaging corn worm things, they can be put in the compost bin as they biodegrade. Box will go in recycling.

Mavvy, if the guy had a glass glass it wouldn't have happened he squeezed his plastic one too hard as he jumped when the train leaving for weybourne tooted just behind where he was sitting. Luckily it was a couple of friends he was sitting opposite and they saw the funny side of what happened. The joke then was being used to soak up spilt beer was probably the best thing a daily mail could be used for as its full of such depressing news

Off to iron then find something to kondo

    I bought the loafers :D

    I will wear them today

I also bought new jeans, I have been looking for a while and have been resisting paying so much, but I haven't bought new ones for two years and most of my trousers are now too big since I lost weight.

And my ariss looks great in these :rotfl:
I wanna be in the room where it happens

I had the garden Kondoed yesterday. Bit too big of a job for me, so got a local gardener in. Only took him a few hours and he took away a massive rubble sack of green waste. Now all that's left are my big old hydrangeas (planted by the previous owner when the house was new) that give me much joy. :D

    Morning everyone! :coffee:

What a miserable day here again! persistent heavy rain! :o

Yesterday went awry! Spent my 'kondo push-forward-afternoon' on rhe phone for 3 hours, trying to help a good friend with a difficult problem. I think I helped her to kondo part of her concerns, but it left me wrung out.

Never mind, today is a new day, with new opportunities! :DApart from a regular trip for a routine blood test and a bit local grocery shopping this morning, my day will devoted to kondoing. And, yippee... the binmen come tomorrow! :j

Thank you all, who are ploughing on, it really helps to keep us plodders well motivated. :D

Just went outside and saw a stunning dragonfly (I think) resting on the wall, it's about 4 inch long in the body and the wings are perfect, I've seen them in flight before but never resting.

Definately brought me joy, it can rest there as long as it wants.

Couldn't do I direct photo I here so I've posted it in Twitter and copied the link.

You are a good friend. :o

Yes, I'm definitely a plodder, I put it down to long working hours and travelling. It really saps my energy. I tend to have a burst on Monday nights and then am too tired the rest of the week....

Thanks for the support on my downer week....I've got a long weekend coming up. It's a friends birthday, she wants to do loads of stuff, but I'm hoping to squeeze in some kondoing somewhere. Mustn't forget my car boot is full of stuff or I'll be driving that around for another week.

I'm definitely at the 'messy' stage. I feel like I have literally evacuated car loads of stuff and STILL it keeps coming. How on earth did I accumulate so much!!!

The shoe boxes is a great idea, I've got some things in my 'gift drawer' festering away that are lovely but have never quite found the right / appreciative home.

I decided to go out last night to get some exercise, was looking for my gym type bag, and eventually found it in a storage box...one of 2 boxes, plus 2 other places where I have bags stored, lord knows how many, gift bags, re-usable pretty bags, those brown thick ones, lordy my brain isn't working somebody help me, whatever they are called - the thing that made me laugh was that I thought I had DONE bags, but it was early on, so very obviously needs a re-visit!!!:rotfl:
Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!
