Changing the subject ever so slightly... has anyone got any ideas how i can kondo a breeze brick?
They break up really well Judi. With a big hammer which is quite theraputic :rotfl: If not just see if your neigbour will add it to her growing pile of kondoed stuff as you said :rotfl:
iTwin I feel better now knowing I am not the only one with a big pile of brasYes I understand now why they are so expensive so will grit my teeth and think of that when I take out a mortgage to buy my new ones
I have been looking at clothes and outfits everywhere and think I am getting closer to what I want to replace and add to my wardrobe.I have read every link and have kondoed what seems hours looking. Think I am going to hit the big city on Friday :eek: and go and try stuff on and have a good nose round
Pouring with rain here and really high winds so will carry on lookingfor ideas.

She's building a Japanese pagoda apparently so it might come in useful. Failing that, it'll have to be hammered to peices.
Not much chance of her stuff overflowing onto my property. She's my next door neighbour but one but if you could see the states of the gardens either side of me you would be right to be concerned.
I wonder if she wants my rhubarb plant as well cause thats got to go.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
No. Although she has come under fire.;) This One was 'Paying Guests' by Sarah Waters..............cant recommend it. However 'The Thirteenth Tale' by Diane Setterfield is a good read
I've had 'Fingersmith' by SW on my 'to read' pile for over a year - I haven't been grabbed enough to even start it yet. Probably one for the CS pile, in that caseI am the master of my fate; I am the captain of my soulRepaid mtge early (orig 11/25) 01/09 £124616 01/11 £89873 01/13 £52546 01/15 £12133 07/15 £NILNet sales 2024: £200 -

Having found my perfect bra, I never buy anything else. £38 each, so I've very ocassionally snaffled one on eBay and asked for one at Christmas. Luckily, I haven't needed to scout around for a strapless, but I may have to at some point for my Boho style!
Must admit it was quite stunning to realise that I had over £1000 worth of bras! Ridiculous.
Clothes and colours. It struck me that my colour problem is 'close to the face' and accent colours. My base colours I think are Denim/ Prussian Blue/ dark Navy, or dark Chocolate. Maybe I shall have to trawl the town trying on scarves in different colours?
I think you're right about trying on experimentally - that's how we originally discovered our style - before families, work, household responsibilities and lack of time, got in the way!Needs, NOT wants!

I'd love your rhubarb crown, but never had the luck to keep them alive!Freecycle it - it will be gone in a trice.

Woo Colour lady coming on Wednesday to case the joint
She said a lot on the phone which made total sense. I think she will give me a kick up the backside that I need (but in a nice way
) We did have a laugh on the phone as well and I think it will be money well spent.
She does the colour thingy, body shape etc and then once she has found out about YOU she will then help you tackle your wardrobe:)
I already feel a million times better about it like a weight lifted and am getting the help I need as all my friends are hoarders and would say what are you getting rid of that for
My husband was listening to my side of the convo and you should have seen his faceHe was looking so puzzled it was so funny. When I told him was it was about he just said whatever makes you happy
But I could have told you you will never wear the long flowery dresses as its just not you :rotfl:and you have about 10 they can all go
Maybe I should get him to overhaul my lifestyle.Hmm maybe not with his dress sense :rotfl:
