Wow! that's great. The best I can find here is 35p a kilo but every little helps.....
Still slashing away at my SABRE - four Christmas cards stitched now, to be kondo'd in DecemberI can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
More kondoing of paper work last night with a glass of wine and rubbish TV ( BGT!) Still haven't found The Important Piece of Paper but the chill was taken off the evening by burning paper on the log burner:) Going to tackle another draw in the filing cabinet today but really want to get into garden...........need a vitamin D top up;) We have 4 filing cabinets BTW so paper work is a long project. My aim is to at least get rid of the 2 drawer cabinet as it holds mainly work stuff that I haven't looked at in years so on that basis I am sure most can be ditched when I finally get round to it:oBe the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Still gathering komono and clothes for next week's Jumble Sale.
Just found a a nice silver coloured gift box - great for MK storage, BUT...
in it was a Ginger Jar and Trinket Box - rather pretty, and could be a nice accent on the spare room dressing chest, (otherwise they will be kondoed!)
Sadly, the sealed jar contains chocolate ginger and the box, chocolate truffles!

Four pairs of kni**ers straight to the bin instead of hung out with the rest of the washing - baggy elastic definitely does NOT spark joy LOL
Sadly Miss Kondo has caused me to swerve from my DFW ways - the library showed that of their only two copies, one was lost and the other on its way to someone else. I caved and got the Kindle version, sigh! So I bought a book after swearing off buying but at least it's isn't on the bookshelf. And, although it cost money, it was still cheaper than a physical copy. PLUS I read it all in one go - how KonMari is that??? LOLLooking ahead0 -

Not only that, it's worth it's weight in gold.Maybe you needn't feel guilty about breaking your rule... you have bought a new way of living! :T
My chocolates were extremely well sealed, and further enclosed in stout sealed polybags - no sign of weevils! I was tempted to try it, but thought the risk was rather higher than the out-of-date stuff I often eat!
How sad - I can't even remember who gave me the gift!Lesson learned!

OMG! I thought it was your paperwork, when I saw it! :rotfl:
Mind you, my paperwork is hiding all over the house, in bags and boxes - 26+ years' worth!

Definitely not worth making yourself ill iQueen.
There are some strange desk-coloured patches appearing in between the paperwork - not seen any of those for a long while. Lots of reading still to do and the pesky postman has brought more this morning. I know that once I'm on top of it it will be easier to deal with.
Another jumper out this morning. When I was putting washing away I saw it and my heart sank so it went straight into the CS box. A fruit punnet is now holding some of my folded socks and I shall use those pairs for now then once they've had it will rotate others so the drawer will gradually empty out.Decluttering Awards: 🏅🏅0 -

Stopped for a coffee.
Working in the spare bedroom, sifting komono for the Jumble Sale.
Half a sack of rubbish, and half a bag of paper/poly, for recycling... so far.
Found 7 pairs of BN knickers that were too small whenever I previously sorted them (pre-kondo). Now they fit! :T And I have enough for 4 weeks! Will do a 'test wear' for comfort and re-kondo the drawer!
Found a few small bits of daughters' stuff (including a professional certificate for one of them!), which they can take or dump next time they visit, also a small jar of foreign/antique coins - including a 1933 George V silver threepenny bit, worth about £3!
Only 1 item for the Jumble, so far, (apart from the already sorted bag of clothes)... a bumbag - mine is big enough without extra clutter! :rotfl:
