Well, that shifted me-I had to self read the meters, the gas meter is 3 inches off the floor in the cupboard of doom. Thrown out bin full of rubbish, sorted the recycling and shredding paper, stacked cake/biscuit tins,2 washing baskets for up-cycling(?where)-then read the meters.
Also sorted top of sideboard and my vase shelves in the downstairs toilet.
Amazing what an impending visit from DD1 and family will do(2 adults and 3 young children in my smallish house)

    Mini-kondoing working well

Rain stopped ,off out in the garden

I'm quite good with the UFO's but I must confess to buying fabric for projects that may not happen for a while.

I'm another going to Norfolk this weekend - to Norwich to the wonderful Ronaldo's ice cream factory to taste flavours for an ice cream stall at DD's wedding. Then on Sunday to the venue to taste lunch options, now that's the type of kondoing I like.

Snoozer - An ice cream stall at the wedding, what a wonderful idea :D

Some of you may have heard of Storage Wars; today we have Packing Wars. Going away tomorrow, so OH has decided we're taking a big suitcase and a small one, the small one for our overnight stops (6 overnight stops in total, and 7 nights at our actual destination). He has finished packing his stuff, and assures me there's plenty of room in the cases.

I daren't look, as the last time he said that, he had taken up 4/5 of the case and was genuinely surprised when I pointed that out :p. I wanted to fold/roll my clothes MK-stylee, and I know there won't be room to do that because of the way he folds his clothes <sigh> I'd rather take another case for myself, but he's arguing against that and simply can't see the point.

And we had to temporarily Kondo the cat to the cattery this morning, and the poor boy was so upset when he realised I was leaving him there :(

ETA Now I know why he got upset when I said I wanted to take my own medium-sized suitcase. I went to look for it.

It's in the boxroom - which I knew - but is on a high shelf, as far from the door as it could be, with loads of carp on top of it and in front of it  There is absolutely NO chance of getting at it!

It all seems too big a job, trying to work out what to put in which suitcase and folding it all, and I have no energy left and just want to cry. (whinge, whinge!) I'm looking forward to our holiday as we're visiting family and friends we haven't seen for ages, but oh, how I wish we could just teleport there and not need to bother about luggage!

For the first time in way too long, I needed pyjamas and was able to pull them straight out of the drawer without rummaging first. And it didn't leave a mess. I was enjoying the process before but now I'm a definite convert!!

Don't you just love that :j

I haven't done any kondoing for a few days due to work , day off today but I've had to go shopping for work trousers and bras , I hate shopping for bras as I am big busted and I can never find nice ones that I can afford . I managed to get a couple that were ok ,so it will be out with the old and in with the new

I've got a drawer to sort that is full of papers , some important , I really need to do it but I just can't muster the get up and go to do it :(

Snoozer the best ice cream I the world is Ronaldos there is a shop is sherringham that sells it, bottom of the high street called Ellie's. we go to sherringham every year to get our fix. They have lovely little carts they trundle round sherringham during carnival week. You will love, I'm sure it will add something special to the day.
    I love Norfolk
